I n t r o d u c t i o n
It is an undeniable fact that due to so many secret things available in the Bible, which were not as yet revealed and interpreted in writing in the Christian Churches up to this very time of the end, that every true Christian should have prayed time and again to the Lord, that according to His own promise mentioned by prophet Amos here below :
“SHALL A TRUMPET BE BLOWN IN THE CITY, AND THE PEOPLE NOT BE AFRAID? SHALL THERE BE EVIL IN A CITY, AND THE LORD HATH NOT DONE IT ? SURELY THE LORD G O D WILL DO NOTHING, BUT HE REVEALETH HIS SECRET UNTO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.” – AMOS 3 : 6, 7.
…………the Lord God should have acted to let the secret things revealed and to stop the evil in the city of the Laodicean Church of SDA.
From the fact that we have been now in the period of the Laodicean Church, which is in the time of the end, that the “c i t y“ mentioned by prophet Amos above would unavoidably be none other than the Laodicean Church of SDA. The secret things of : (1) the Bible prophecies of the Old Testament, (2) the mysterious book of Revelation, and (3) the parables of Jesus in the New Testament, all of which according to the prophet, they should have now been interpreted by the prophets : William Miller, Mrs. Ellen G. White and the last is Bro. Victor T. Houteff. And they are now accommodated in the “golden bowl” of the prophecy of Zechariah chapter 4, which is the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10.
They are now being proclaimed in the city of the Laodicean Church as a trumpet of a very high sound to be blown to the city. However, as prophesied by the prophet the people are not afraid. And the Lord Himself did not as yet do anything than said : “SURELY THE LORD G O D WILL DO NOTHING, BUT HE REVEALETH HIS SECRET UNTO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.” – AMOS 3 : 6, 7.
That is, that just after all the secret things of the Bible interpreted and revealed by the prophets in the city of the Laodicean Church of SDA, and after they be proclaimed as trumpets of a certain sound in the churches, then will the Lord do to purify His Church as those prophesied in Ezekiel chapter 9, and Isaiah 66 : 16 – 19.
The problem now is, however, is there yet another prophet to come after Victor T. Houteff ? Are there still secret things in the Bible that the Lord should have sent someone to succeed Bro. Houteff and his Shepherd’s Rod message in this time of the end, to have all the secret things revealed completely?
The whole Bible has been
interpreted in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY
As those prophesied in the book of Zechariah chapter 4, the prophet said : “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house ; his hands shall also finish it ; and thou shalt know that the Lord of host hath sent me unto you.” —- Zechariah 4 : 9.
The servant of the Lord Mrs. White is known as founder of the Laodicean Church of SDA ever since 1844. Her hands had laid the foundation of the “house” of Laodicea, ever since the beginning consist of the basic Law of the Ten Commandments and its rules of implementation in the by-Laws, which is the Bible and her Spirit of Prophecy of the third angel’s message of Revelation 14 : 6 – 9. Due to the fact, however, that so many secret things in the Bible were not as yet revealed, she then said that the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 must come to unite with the third angel message of Revelation 14 to become the GREAT LIGHT to enlighten the earth. Read Early Writings, p. 277. In fact the new message mentioned by her before she died, is none other than the message of the Shepherd’s Rod by Bro. Victor T. Houteff. N o t e : Mrs. White died in 1915, whereas Bro. Houteff was just baptized into the SDA Church membership in 1919.
Thus it is, that all the Laodiceans of SDA who are followers of Mrs. White and Bro. Houteff, should have been given a new foundation, laid by the hands of Zerubbabel who represented Bro. Victor T. Houteff and his message of the Rod. And this began to be fulfilled in 1935 when the Organization of the angel of Laodicea was spewed out of Jesus’ mouth to be succeeded by the re-organized body of the General Conference of SDA, which is the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA. This is also to meet the fulfillment of the Call for a spiritual revival and reformation by Mrs. White dated February 25, 1902 in the Review and Herald.
Therefore, based upon the new foundation, laid by the hands of Zerubbabel, who represented Bro. Victor T. Houteff as the last prophet of this time of the end, let it be understood that in the very near future the prophecy of Amos 3 : 6 and 7 would be thoroughly fulfilled. That is, the city would be purified from all the wicked who fail to obey the Call for a spiritual revival and reformation as those trumpeted to them in the very certain and clear sound.
But how could we be sure that Zerubbabel is the only servant of God and the last of all divinely appointed prophets for this time of the end ? Let us again read carefully the prophetic words of Zechariah here below :
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of host hath sent me unto you.” —- Zechariah 4 : 9.
From the fact that every new light would never cast out the old ones, that by the coming of the new light of the message of the Shepherd’s Rod by prophet Victor T. Houteff, then the combination of the Spirit of Prophecy by Mrs. White and the Shepherd’s Rod by Bro. Houteff should have been the foundation of “the house” of ( Zechariah 4 : 9 ) o r of “the c i t y” of prophet Amos ( Amos 3 : 6, 7 ) above. And since “the house” or “the city” should have been purified, made white and tried,” as those prophesied in the book of Ezekiel 9 and in Isaiah 66 : 16 – 19, then according to Zechariah, the hands of Zerubbabel too that should have accomplished the building of the house, not merely her foundation. And such would have been accomplished only after the process of purification is finished.
Thus it is, that soon after the “house” or the “city” purification process is finished, then will the hands of Zerubbabel also to accomplish the whole building of the kingdom of the 144.000 elected saints of God in the Palestine. And since the Davidian SDA Constitution and the By-Law were ever since codified by Bro. Houteff himself to be part of the Shepherd’s Rod message, then let it be understood that only when the Davidic Kingdom in the Palestine is established according to the Constitution and the By-Laws of Davidian SDA codified by Bro. Houteff, then the hands of Zerubbabel would have also finished the building. And thus will be fulfilled the prophetic words of Zechariah when he said : “………… his hands also shall finish it.” Not only the hands of Zerubbabel to lay the foundation of the 144.000 elected saints of Davidian SDA n o w, but the same hands of Zerubbabel would have finished the building of their kingdom too in the future in the Palestine.
From the book, “THE LEVITICUS OF DSDA, at the end of its Preface we read : “…..THEN ITS CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS AS HEREIN CODIFIED WILL BE F U L L Y O P E R A T I V E.“
Though the Constitution and the By-Laws of Davidian SDA as the hands of Zerubbabel during the life time of Houteff is permanent for good and unchangeable, their application were not as yet fully done up to the time he died in 1955. As the hands of Zerubbabel they will just be fully operative in the coming kingdom in the Palestine. Thus is prophesied by the servant of the Lord.
Attention : After the death of Bro. Houteff in 1955 no single statement could be found in the Rod that the Lord Himself would have maintained the re-organized body of the General Conference of SDA up to the end of the sealing time. Therefore, the establishment of several Mount Carmel Centers in USA, based upon the Constitution and the By-Laws of Davidian SDA would have failed to meet the will of God as those codified therein. And that is the reason why they are all illegal in the eyes of the Heavenly intelligences.
From the fact that the prophecy of Zechariah 4 has been fully interpreted in our midst, then from the following statement below :
“Then I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes e m p t y the golden oil out of themselves? …………. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” – Zechariah 4 : 12, 14.
Note : The two olive branches of the two anointed ones represent the Bible of the Old and the New Testaments. The two golden pipes represent the divinely appointed “prophets” of this time of the end, through whom all the secret things of the Bible to be revealed and interpreted. The “g o l d e n o i l“ represents the truth of the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.
Let us understand, therefore, that by the coming of Victor T. Houteff as the last prophet of this time of the end the prophetic words of Zechariah would have been fulfilled. Thus is all the secret things of the Bible could be revealed and interpreted into the golden bowl, which represents The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10.
Victor T. Houteff
As the last prophet in the prophecies of the Bible
Every member of the Laodicean Church of God could not deny the fact that Mrs. Ellen G. White is the founder of the Laodicean Church of SDA ever since the beginning in 1844. And the Bible and her publications of the Spirit of Prophecy as the third angel message of Revelation 14, will be the foundation of their Church. If we, therefore, could honestly admit that the third angel message of Revelation 14 has its origin with Mrs. White, we should have admitted too that the prominent message of the Shepherd’s Rod of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1, has its origin with Victor T. Houteff the founder of the Laodicean Church of Davidian SDA. And this is the very last message of the Bible known in the Church today. And from this fact we read in Malachi 3 : 1,
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me : and the Lord whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in : behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.” — Malachi 3 : 1.
…… we also should have admitted, that ahead of Jesus’ coming suddenly to His temple on Mount Zion in the Palestine as prophesied in Revelation 14 : 1, Victor T. Houteff as messenger of the message of the Shepherd’s Rod should have been sent first by the Lord to prepare the way ahead of the coming of Jesus as messenger of the covenant.
It is the coming of Victor T. Houteff, the ordinary and simple prophet and his message, prophesied in the Old Testament as follows : “THE LORD’S VOICE CRIETH UNTO THE CITY, AND THE MAN OF WISDOM SHALL SEE THY NAME : HEAR YE THE ROD, AND WHO HATH APPOINTED IT.” – Micah 6 : 9.
But as well as the sound of the trumpet blowing in the city prophesied in Amos 3 : 6, 7 could not make the people afraid, so is the message of the Shepherd’s Rod of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1. This is prophesied also in the book of Isaiah, in Isaiah 28 : 9 – 13.
Even through the prophecy of Zechariah, Victor T. Houteff had been shown to be the Zerubbabel, as the only and the last prophet of God in the time of the end, whose hands were not only to lay the foundation of the house of the Laodicean Church of Davidian SDA, but even with the same hand he should have finish the building of the house. And this is to be accomplished in the future when the Davidic Kingdom in the Palestine should have been established.
Actually, there are more and more prophets of the Old Testament, who have ever prophesied on Victor T. Houteff and his message of the Shepherd’s Rod. Because his is the only message that should have accomplished most of the salvation of mankind of this world in this critical hours of the time of the end.
Let us, therefore, b e w a r e, Dear fellow believers in the ROD of the Lord Jesus, because somebody has come in among us, professing to be JIZREEL or prophet. And all of us, fellow believers, were deemed only as AMMI and RUHAMMAH of this time of the end. Read Hosea chapter 1 and 2.
No single prophecy of the Old Testament prophets nor any statement from the end time prophets could ever be found to sustain his profession. Nor could he and his message be found in any statement in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY publications of the Laodicean Church of GOD. He is now moving among us with only his type and antitype method of interpretation of his own fabrication to meet his goal. But that is not enough to sustain his position as the last prophet of God for this time of the end.
The Problem of T y p e and its A n t i – T y p e
One of several methods of interpretation known in the Law science is the analogical method of interpretation. This method by the servant of the Lord is called “The Type and its Anti-type”. This method is frequently used by Bro. Houteff in his interpretations of the prophecies of the Bible, because most of the prophecies written in the past by the Old Testament prophets using types to meet their anti-types in this time of the end. This is the reason why Mrs. White ever said :
“In true science there can be nothing contrary to the teaching of the word of God, for both have the same Author. A correct understanding of both will always prove them to be in harmony. Truth, whether in nature or in revelation, is harmonious with itself in all its manifestations. But the mind not enlightened by God’s Spirit will ever be in darkness in regard to His power. This is why human ideas in regard to science so often contradict the teaching of God’s word.” – 8 Testimonies, p. 258.
For us, therefore, to know through the type and its anti-type method of interpretation in the message of the Rod, if it is yet to come after Bro. Houteff another prophet, let us go right to Bro. Houteff himself to clarify for us in his book : THE ANSWERER, BOOK 3, Question No. 52 here below :
HAS THE WORK OF THE SHEPHERD’S ROD A TYPE ?
Question:
If “The Shepherd’s Rod” is correct that “where there is no type, there is no truth,” then where, may one ask, is the type of the work of the “Rod,” itself?
Answer:
In the Old Testament is brought to view a religious Movement which is an “ensample,” or type, of a counterpart in the New Testament. And just as God yesterday organized and led the one to emancipate His people from a cruel bondage to heathen masters, so also will He do with the other today. Likewise as He instructed the one, so will He instruct the other as to how to expect to be liberated and established in the land of their inheritance, the kingdom of freedom, peace, and plenty. In assurance of this, He declares: “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” 1 Cor. 10:11. And “there shall be an highway for the remnant of His people, which shall be left, from Assyria, Like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.” Isa. 11:16.
These scriptures plainly show that the Exodus Movement of old led by Moses through his shepherd’s rod, from Egypt to Canaan, points forward in type to the final deliverance of God’s people from their long servitude to the kingdom of this world, to freedom in the kingdom of God. Accordingly this final and latter day Exodus Movement is to be led by the antitypical Shepherd’s Rod, and liberated from all earthly bonds–from sin and from sinners.
But let it be remembered that the Exodus Movement, the type, was in two sections, the first section being led by Moses, and the second by Joshua, and that it was the last, the purified, section (that which grew up after the forty years’ wilderness wandering, and after all but two who were over twenty years of age when they left Egypt, had died) that possessed the land.
The Movement led by the Rod today is the only Movement in Christendom fitting the type–the Israel of Joshua’s day: like it, drawing its followers only from the parent Movement, and having as its threefold objective the deliverance of God’s people from bondage, the possession of the land and the establishment of the kingdom. And just as the purified Israel of Joshua’s day, the generation which survived the forty-year wilderness wanderings, inherited first the final leadership of the typical Exodus Movement, and then the land of promise, so the purified Israel today (the 144,000), the ones who survive the forty-year period of wandering from 1890-1930, and who escape the slaughter of Ezekiel 9, are to be promoted to the final leadership of the antitypical Exodus Movement, then to inherit “the promised land,” and to be citizens in the everlasting Kingdom.
Thus we see that it was not until after the murmurers were eliminated, in the ensample, that Joshua took over, and led the Exodus Movement in the land of Canaan. Accordingly, in the antitype the period before the Rod came the Laodicean period, is the one in which are to be found the typical wanderings, doubting, and murmurings, both against the founder and the dietetic principles (“health reform”) of the Movement, and the consequent curses and slaughter.
The immediate result of these murmurings complaining, and doubting today has been to blind the eyes of many in the Advent Movement, causing them to turn back from following Christ their Leader, and steadily to retreat “toward Egypt.” — Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 217. Consequently, in another tragic parallel, just as Moses wrote the sad experience of the type so the founder of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination wrote the even sadder experience of the antitype, declaring as far back as 1888: “Many had lost sight of Jesus;” and “Doubt and even disbelief of the testimonies of the Spirit of God, is leavening our churches everywhere.” — Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 217.
In other words, just as unbelief on the part of ancient Israel sent them back to wander in the desert until all the guilty had perished so in like manner unbelief in the message of Righteousness by Faith proclaimed at the Minneapolis Conference sent the Seventh-day Adventist denomination into a forty-year wilderness wandering, until 1930, with the arrival of the message, at the voice of which each must either do God’s bidding or die as did Achkan and his household. May God grant that the Israel of today, the children of those who have repeated the history of Israel of old (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 160), be admonished by the mistakes of their fathers, and heed the call of the Eleventh Hour.
This solemn typology reveals yet other significant parallels : just as the Exodus Movement was bereft of their visible leader a short time before it entered the land of Canaan, so also was the Advent Movement bereft of its visible leader as it neared the borders of the Kingdom; and just as Joshua was called then to guide the feet of God’s weary pilgrims to their homeland, just so must another arise at this time in fulfillment of the type, to lead home the feet of God’s saints today.
“By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.” — Hosea 12 : 13.
“Somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah, and when he appears, men may say: ‘…you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way.'” –Testimonies to Ministers, pp. 475, 476.
In all the annals of church history since the Exodus Movement, the Rod message is the only one which calls for just such a Movement, and which exactly fits the type. (See Tract No. 8, Mount Sion at the Eleventh Hour, and Tract No. 9, Behold I Create All Things New).
Unmistakably, therefore, the clear light shedding forth from type, from testimonies of the prophets, and from history, identify the message of the Rod as the only one ordained to lead the latter day church, freed from sin and sinners, into the land of promise, when “the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Luke 21:24. “In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed.” Dan. 2:44. That day has come, and the Rod of God is here to effect that “great reformatory movement among God’s people” — (Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 126), to give “power and force to the Third Angel’s Message”– (Early Writings, p. 277), so that, “clad in the armor of Christ’s righteousness, the church …’fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners,'” may “go forth into all the world, conquering and to conquer.” — Prophets and Kings, p. 725.
“Hear ye the Rod, and Who hath appointed it.” Mic. 6:9.

My comment :
The antitype of the 40 years wandering of the Israelites in the wilderness, began to meet the fulfillment in 1930, when Houteff presented to the General Conference of SDA leadership his Book the Shepherd’s Rod vol. 1, which was later rejected and Bro. Houteff was then disfellowshipped of his membership as Seventh day Adventist.
And in 1935 to implement the call by Mrs. White for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation ever since 1902, he then with the Shepherd had successfully re-organized the Organization of the General Conference of SDA into the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA. Then at the same time the angel of the Laodicean Church or the General Conference of SDA should have been spewed out of Jesus’ mouth, because the Lord would not be represented here on earth by two Organizations, who are against each other. Thus ever since, the General Conference of SDA and all its ministers would have been the s a m e in the sight of God with all other Christian world whose spiritual identity is Babylon. There is no more differences to be found between Luke warmness and the Babylon spiritually. And so is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah in this time of the end, when the prophet said :
“And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel : only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.” – Isaiah 4 : 4.
That is, the need of Christian world today and even the angel of the Laodicean Church and all his diehard followers, is none other than Christ’s name (Christian), to take away their reproach.
Accordingly therefore, as mentioned above by Bro. Houteff, the type of Israel under the leadership of Moses along the 40 years wandering in the wilderness, and then succeeded under the leadership of Joshua up to the time their Davidic kingdom established in the Palestine, all of which would have met their antitype with the end time Israel under the SHEPHERD’s ROD of Houteff. And though Houteff as the last prophet of this time of the end had died, THE HANDS OF ZERUBABBEL would have accomplished all things : from before the purification of the Church up to the finishing of the building of the “h o u s e“ in the Palestine.
J O S H U A, who survived the death of Moses his prophet, would unavoidably represent the divinely appointed t e a c h e r s, who survived the death of their prophet Victor T. Houteff in this time of the end. As the same Shepherd’s Rod put in their hands to carry out their last job, they have first to lead all the end time Israelites through all the process of purification of the Church, up to the fulfillment of the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 and Isaiah 66 : 16 – 19, even up to the establishment of the Davidic Kingdom in the Palestine. Even so before he died in 1955 Bro. Houteff had ever said :
“………….. we must therefore, as teachers (not prophet) of the Shepherd’s Rod (the official publications of the Davidian SDA Association), teach only in the light of the Rod those passages which in one way or another need to be interpreted. THUS ONLY WILL ALL PRESENT TRUTH BELIEVERS EVER BECOME OF THE SAME MIND, SEEING EYE TO EYE AND SPEAKING THE SAME THINGS.“ – Fundamental Beliefs of the Davidian SDA, p. 26 (in brackets added).
Only through the painstaking efforts of those divinely appointed t e a c h e r s of the Shepherd’s Rod mentioned by the servant of the Lord above, will the candidates of the 144.000 elected saints of God be made to see eye to eye, to have the same mind and to speak the same things.
You see, though Moses should have died earlier to be succeeded by Joshua before they enter the Promised Land, the same Shepherd’s Rod in the hand of Joshua that had successfully led the great multitude of the Israelite into the land of Canaan in the Palestine. The hands of Zerubbabel that ever laid the foundation of the house of the Laodicean Church of Davidian SDA ever since 1935, the same hands would have finished the building of the house in 2027 in the Palestine in near future.
