The answer to the search for clues from Bro. Victor T. Houteff, does God entrust the accomplishment of His work through an organization?

Approaching the days of deliverance for those the first fruits  from the harvest in the church of the Laodicea, God’s people are required to be religious without having a messenger who is God’s servant to live in our midst to carry out the truths entrusted to us, then one of the problems that causes division in among us is the question whether at the accomplishment of the work in the church when the accumulated number of 144,000 saints reached, will God finish the work through the medium of an organization?

To obtain answers to these questions, it is better if we do not get out of the line of thought of God’s messengers who are assigned to feed their congregations, especially in the last days. Here are some guidelines in understanding the logic of thinking God’s truth from day to day, the roll continues to open:

……, that it is never fair for one to assume a stand on an issue, solely on the weight of opinion derived from one or two verses, without first considering the verses in the light of the whole chapter, yes, even of the entire Bible; for if one’s interpretation of the Scriptures is not supported by every sentence of Holy Writ, it is a fallacious interpretation, a blind conclusion, without Bible foundation. – Why Perish, pp. 75, 76.

Let us remember always to observe the inviolable rule that an interpretation of one inspired statement must harmonize with all other related statements. – Answerer Book 3 p. 41.

No candid Bible student would build a theory upon an interpretation that would lead him to set aside all other scriptures on the subject. He will seek to make his final analysis in such a way as to be in perfect harmony with all of them, or else confess that he does not have the light on the subject. – Answerer Book 3 p. 53.

Here we are told that prophecy, a vision, is the acid test by which to judge purported Bible Truth; that is, if the thing is not in prophecy, if there is no vision of it found in the writings of the prophets, then, there is no truth in it.  Yes, the visions of the prophets are to be our visions if we must be preserved. Timely Greetings Vol. 2, No. 24, p. 15.

Now, if never before we should see that where there is a type there is also an antitype, and that where there is no type, there is no Truth.Timely Greetings Vol. 1, No. 47, p. 15.

Victor T. Houteff, in his description of the disillusionment that occurred in 1844, stated the following:

Here is seen that Inspiration does not at once lighten our path clear to the end, but that It does so step by step; that God’s Truth is progressive; that we can never really say we have all the Truth to carry us clear through to the Pearly Gates. – Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 11, p. 10.

Let us ever bear in mind that we of ourselves know nothing about God’s plans except as told through His appointed servants, the prophets, and as we witness them day by day.  If we daily walk with God, if we commit all to Him, then the responsibility is all His.Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 7, p. 7.

From the above quotation, it appears that the problem of differences in understanding among the holders of truth now is that there are people who take a conclusion based only on one or two verses without considering the whole verse in the chapter, not paying attention to the presence or absence of a prophecy or an example of an event. God’s people in the past and other problems are ignorant of the understanding that something truth conveyed by God is always developing in character so that even if something is shared by God’s messengers, it is possible that its fulfillment or application when the time has come can be different.

Furthermore, the picture can be different in understanding with the time of the fulfillment event even though it has been held for a long time, we can get from the guidance that we can use as a guide for understanding God’s truth, especially for those of us who live near the end of time for the trial after being abandoned by the shepherd of God Victor T. Houteff who died in 1955:

1. Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 13, pp. 6 & 7 :

It should be remembered that we are not the first and the only people who have had to change our way of thinking; we are not the first and only people to discover that God’s plans are the opposite of our plans.  Moses, too, found that his plan for delivering the children of Israel from their Egyptian bondage was not God’s plan.  Likewise God’s plan for the route they were to take in their journey to the promised land was not their plan.  The apostles positively believed that Christ was to set up His kingdom at His first advent, but they, too, had to change their belief.  Moreover, since the Hebrews, whom out of slaves God had made kings, had been promised that their kingdom was to stand forever, they were indeed astounded when it went down.  And there have been other surprises all along from the dawn of history.

As Inspiration unrolls the Scroll it is, of course, but to be expected that it will find us surprisingly ignorant of many things — the very reason that It unrolls.  If we, therefore, fail to exchange our ideas for the Lord’s then what hope is there for us ever to become enlightened and fitted for eternity?  Our ideas are to fall flat, and the Lord’s prophecies are to stand “high and lifted up.”  Our duty is to prove God’s Word correct rather than to hold tenaciously to our preconceptions and misconceptions until God Himself steps in and puts us to shame.

2. Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 20, Opening Prayer Thought “The Kingdom of Judah, the sifting of the nations.

The disciples expected Jerusalem in their time to become the capital of God’s great Kingdom.  But contrary to their expectations, Jesus proclaimed that Jerusalem would become a desolation, and the temple a ruin!  Thus again and again we are led to see that we finite beings never know God’s plans.  Indeed, we need to pray for His Spirit to lead us on and on, and to point out the right way at every turn as we journey onward to Eternity.  Let us now pray that the knowledge of these truths will make us just what we ought to be.

3. The Great Controversy, p. 343 :

But no man, however honored of Heaven, has ever attained to a full understanding of the great plan of redemption, or even to a perfect appreciation of the divine purpose in the work for his own time. Men do not fully understand what God would accomplish by the work which He gives them to do; they do not comprehend, in all its bearings, the message which they utter in His name.

Let us pay attention to the quotes above that the various incidents of experiences of God’s people before us which were very surprising and beyond their expectations were also warned us that this will still happen “there have been other surprises” meaning that it will still happen to the generation of reformation steps that Lastly, it is therefore reminded to us of the disclosures of truth that have been conveyed by Ellen G. White and Victor T. Houteff  “Our duty is to prove God’s Word correct rather than to hold tenaciously to our preconceptions and misconceptions until God Himself steps in and puts us to shame, besides that also from the words through His Spirit God will show us the right path at every crossroads showing that the scroll of truth will still be open until we will get an understanding of the truth that is which previously had not been challenged it when the time is getting closer, namely at the “at every turn” means that an understanding or scroll of truth is opened, not at the beginning or in the middle of a movement.

After we study the guidelines given by God’s messenger and understand the logic of thinking, then we humbly try to get answers to the questions from the title above by tracing to:

Various clues from the writings of Victor T. Houteff regarding organization

1.  God has not put any kingly power within our ranks to control this or that branch of work (The Great Paradox of the Ages, p. 40) :

“Now I want to say, God has not put any kingly power in our ranks to control this or that branch of the work. The work has been greatly restricted by the efforts to control it in every line. Here is a vineyard presenting its barren places that have received no labor. And if one should start out to till these places in the name of the Lord, unless he should get the permission of the men in a little circle of authority, he would receive no help. God means that His workers shall have help. If a hundred should start out on a mission to destitute fields, crying unto God, He would open the way before them.

“Let me tell you, if your heart is in the work, and you have faith in God, you need not depend upon the sanction of any minister or any people: if you go right to work in the name of the Lord, in a humble way doing what you can to teach the truth, God will vindicate you.

“If the work had not been so restricted by an impediment here, and an impediment there, and on the other side an impediment, it would have gone forward in its majesty. It would have gone in weakness at first; but the God of heaven lives.”Review and Herald, April 16, 1901.

It can be seen from the above quotation that we can see that in its implementation, an organizational leadership has a lot to regulate or control the implementation of God’s work, but when we compare it with what God wants in an organizational leadership in the book of the Priesthood, it is as follows:

The government of Israel was administered in the name and by the authority of God. The work of Moses, of the seventy elders, of the rulers and judges, was simply to enforce the laws that God had given; they had no authority to legislate for the nation. This was, and continued to be, the condition of Israel’s existence as a nation. From age to age men inspired by God were sent to instruct the people and to direct in the enforcement of the laws. Patriarchs and Prophets p. 603. (The Leviticus of The Davidian Seventh-day Adventists, p. 16)

It can be seen from the quote above that in its development of implementation the existence of an organization has become a tool of Satan to hinder the progress of God’s work.

2.  Exalting the gift of government and the gift of tongues higher than the gift of the prophet.

As the gift of prophets is, according to the Scriptures, second in order of the gifts to the church, and the gift of governments and that of diversity of tongues are last, obviously, then, those who despise the gift of prophecy but exalt the gift of governments and the gift of tongues, are pulling the cart from its rear end, and are going in the wrong direction. To such, Christ is saying: “Knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.” Rev. 3 : 17. — The Great Paradox of the Ages, p. 7.

While most of these gifts, especially tongues and governments, are zealously sought after by the Christian churches, the one — “prophets” — that was despised by the Jews, is wholly rejected by almost all Christendom! Thus the spirit that instigated the killing of the ancient seers at the hand of the Jewish leaders, is today doing virtually the same sort of destructive work through organized opposition. Why Perish ? pp. 6, 7.

From this quote, it is again shown that in this final work approaching the completion of the work for the congregation there will be a practice of carrying out work that does not prioritize the gifts of prophets (understanding from the perspective of Ellen G. organization and speaking / preaching skills.

3. Organizations ….. will work under Satan’s dictation (The Great Paradox of the Ages, p. 63) :

“Men…through selfishness…crowd down the very ones whom God is using to diffuse the light He has given them…Satan’s skill is exercised….He works to restrict religious liberty….Organizations…will work under Satan’s dictation to bring men under the control of men; and fraud and guile will bear the semblance of zeal for truth and for the advancement of the kingdom of God….such men assume to exercise the prerogatives of God — they presume to do that which God Himself will not do in seeking to control the minds of men. Thus they follow in the track of Romanism…. In such arrangements the man who allows his mind to be ruled by the mind of another is thus separated from God and exposed to temptation….but God has plainly set it before us. He says, ‘Cursed be the man that trusteth in man and maketh flesh his arm.Testimonies Vol. 7, pp. 179, 180, 181, 178.

From this quote, it can be seen that Victor T. Houteff has been given a picture of how the condition of God’s people approaching the completion of the work for the church, namely that Satan will work using “organizations” not only by individuals but through powerful tools.

4.  Yet just the granting of a Certificate of Fellowship is a cheap thing.  That in itself would have no significance. (Symbolic Codes Vol. 11 no. 3, January 1956 pp. 10 – 11.)

Many have asked who is eligible to lead in the service of the work? The answer that goes out from Mt. Carmel is that anyone not holding a Certificate of Fellowship cannot be a Davidian teacher. He can listen only. Yet just the granting of a Certificate of Fellowship is a cheap thing. That in itself would have no significance. — Symbolic Codes Vol. 11 no. 3, January 1956 pp. 10 – 11.

Victor T. Houteff in his explanation of his question about leading work in the Davidian organization, it is clear that ownership of a Davidian organization membership card does not mean anything, giving the card is said to be just an ordinary matter, meaning that we can conclude that the membership card is only intended for order organize, so that thus also certainly does not have a decisive impact on salvation.

5. A person who is not a member of the Seventh-day Adventist congregation could be one of the 144,000. (Answerer book 4, p. 35).

Question no. 93:

Although I am not a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, yet since I have the light on Ezekiel 9 and on the truth of the 144,000, will I fall in the slaughter of the wicked if I do not fully accept and live up to the light? And, conversely, will I be subject to the enjoyment of the privileges of the 144,000 and be one of them if I obey all the light of this message?

Answer:

Even though you are not a member of the church, still you will be held accountable for the light which you have on the subject, for no one finds the truth accidentally, or sees it without the Holy Spirit’s aid.

By the same law of accountability or sacred responsibility, even though you may have come into the message only recently you can be eligible for the election of the 144,000 if you live up to the message that is to purify and seal them. Whether or not for a certainty, however, you will be one of them, we do not know, but if you are faithful to the message, you will at least be one with them.Answerer Book 4 p. 36.

If we observe the person’s question to Victor T. Houteff and the answer he gives should be if the membership of the Davidian organization which at that time was still under the leadership of Victor T. Houteff himself was very decisive in safety, then of course he would first offer the questioner to incorporate himself into Davidian organization and asked for a membership card, but we can see from the answers given that it is very clear that the most important thing is the gift of prophets, not the gift of government and the gift of tongues as in the quotes of Victor T. Houteff’s writings above. Regarding his answer which does not provide any confirmation regarding whether or not the questioner can become one of the 144,000, we can conclude that he answered this way because the decision whether or not someone can become 144,000 belongs to God is not human, including Victor T. Houteff himself.

6. Satan has always succeeded in bringing down every movement (organization) to this day. (Answerer book 1 p. 67).

Question No. 4:

Does Satan cast a special stumbling block before the church as a body, or just attack its members individually?

Answer:

……… Thus we see that while Satan has not been able to overthrow every individual member, he has, though, been able to overthrow every Movement to date.

The Eleventh-hour Movement, being the very last, is consequently in the greatest danger of all. What urgency, then, that we keep our eyes wide open lest we, too, fall! This Movement, however, being the last gospel effort, must “give power and force” to the Third Angel’s Message and “lighten the earth with his glory” (Rev. 18 : 1); it must triumph, though every Movement before it has failed.

From the above quotation, let us trace the journey of God’s people in the past, for example since the journey out of Egypt, the time of Jesus to the steps of reformatory movements or organizations since Martin Luther individually, although many Satanists were able to defeat but not “every” but there are still people who uphold the truth accept the new truths that come offered by the messengers of God who are sent next and then establish a new organization but we see the movement or organization in fact we find that the words “every” or all organizations can be defeated by Satan. Thus, of course, Victor T. Houteff in conveying these words did not mean to the Davidian organization during his leadership, but because it is said “every”, we as honest Bible students must understand that even the Davidian organization certainly did not escape Victor T. Houteff’s statement, so that we can conclude that the instructions he conveyed were a prediction in the future after the end of God’s assignment to him that the Davidian organization would also be defeated by Satan, such a conclusion we can get from further explanation in the next paragraph above, namely we can picture that the only the movement or organization that Satan will not be able to defeat is only the eleventh hour movement that is the 144,000 that will get the work done around the world not we are now the candidates for the 144,000 because we are now according to his description as vanguards.

7. I will turn mine hand upon the little ones (Timely Greetings Vol. 1 book 4 p. 17.)

At the sermon of Victor T. Houteff on 23 November 1946, concerning “The end of  human idols and their worshipers”, Victor T. Houteff uses Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 among other things “O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”, to this verse his Victor T. Houteff explanation just says “I have no special comments to make on verses 6 and 7, other than what is commonly understood among Christians.”

In accordance with the Symbolic Code vol. 10, 5 March 1955, with the death of Victor T. Houteff on 5 February 1955 the organization made the statement:

……………………

Although Victor T. Houteff in the book Present Truth as mentioned above refers the verse to the person of Jesus, but in the context of the prophecy of Zechariah 13 as a whole the prophecy is intended for the end of time, so if verses 6 and 7 are addressed to Jesus then basically the conclusion is not according to the context of the entire chapter as the guidelines for understanding the Bible that we have presented above, we can understand the death of Jesus as an example for the death of Victor T. Houteff. This conclusion is reinforced by the quote in the book Symbolic Code above which describes that the death of Victor T. Houteff fulfilled the prophecy of Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 and besides that it would not be possible for Victor T. life and he did not know about his death, so that after his death and added in 1962 the organization was dissolved which we can conclude is God no longer works through the organization.

8. The threshing took place at both places in Edom and Bozrah (Timely Greetings Vol. 1 no. 43 pp. 12 – 17)

Isa. 63 : 1 — “Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?  this that is glorious in His apparel, travelling in the greatness of His strength?  I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

The explanation from Victor T. Houteff

In vision the prophet saw someone with bloodstained garments hastily returning from Edom and Bozrah.  To the prophet’s question, “Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?” came the answer, “I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Who else could this person be but the Lord Himself, the Saviour of the world, the Mighty One to save?

Again the prophet asked,

Isa. 63 : 2  — “Wherefore art Thou red in Thine apparel, and Thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?”

The explanation from Victor T. Houteff :

The answer to these questions introduces a series of solemn events, the events recorded in

Isa. 63 : 3 – 5  — “I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with Me: for I will tread them in Mine anger, and trample them in My fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon My garments, and I will stain all My raiment.  For the day of vengeance is in Mine heart, and the year of My redeemed is come.  And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore Mine Own arm brought salvation unto Me; and My fury, it upheld Me.”

The explanation from Victor T. Houteff :

…….. at His first advent, though there was no one with Him to help; that is, all the priests and religious leaders — the General Conference of His day (the Sanhedrin) were against Him instead of helping Him in His work.

…… “I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore Mine Own arm brought salvation unto Me; and My fury, it upheld Me” (all in future tense) — show the present church’s condition not only equally as bad as at His first coming, but even much worse.  How true that history repeats!  As the day of vengeance approaches, those who are supposed to uphold and help in the work of redemption, the ministers and religious leaders, the antitypical Sanhedrin of today (the General Conference), are seen to be hindering, standing in His way of reaching the people.

Since God’s people of today are not in the land of Edom, south of Palestine, but are scattered throughout the earth, and since the Lord is to slay their enemies in order to free them, the truth is obvious: These are antitypical Edom and Bozrah.

After Esau of old sold his birthright for a mess of pottage he was called Edom; and the name Bozrah means “sheepfold.”  Plainly, then, the Edomites of Isaiah 63:1 are those who in our day have sold their birthright, and who at the same time are persecuting (as did Esau persecute Jacob) those who have bought it, so to speak.  Thus it is that as God’s people had to be delivered from the Sanhedrin in Christ’s day, they must now be delivered from the General Conference, the antitypical Edomite brethren, in order to be led into all Truth, and into their fathers’ land.

The words, “the year of My redeemed is come,” and “the day of vengeance is in Mine heart,” clearly says that the Lord’s strange work in Edom and Bozrah is the day of vengeance and a sign of antitypical Israel’s (the church purified) returning to the home land.

Although from the quote Victor T. Houteff does not explicitly indicate who the party symbolized by Bozrah is, as we understand that the Esau symbol is always associated with Jacob, and prophecies and parables like the 5 wise virgins are always associated with 5 Foolish virgins, goats are associated with sheep, good fish are associated with bad fish, so also for Bozrah we can conclude that this symbol is meant for the leadership of an organization that claims to be 5 wise virgins, namely the Davidian organization and its shepherds.

The reason why Victor T. Houteff does not explain who Bozrah is we can conclude that is because at that time the Davidian leadership was still in his hands and the signs of becoming a party as Isaiah’s prophecy did not help God leave His own working hand not visible at all. It is our duty to pay attention to what Victor T. Houteff said in “as we witness them day by day” as in one of the guidelines we have read together above.

9. Those who will be in charge of His vineyard are the ones who never get a lifted hand upon his head. (The Acts of The Apostles, p. 110).

God will send forth into His vineyard many who have not been dedicated to the ministry by the laying on of hands.

This hint from Ellen G. White predicts that the workers especially for the final work for the present church will not come from the representatives of the organization, because if from the organization, of course, according to the procedure, they can all work only after receiving a lift or after being ordained appointed. Thus they are of course responsible only directly to God (because the last work is in God’s own hand).

10. Every church organization that has followed has failed to keep pace with the advancement of the Truth, only as individuals can see this (Timely Greetings vol. II no. 26 pp. 20 & 21).

So to ask why Mohammedans and Buddhists are still Mohammedans and Buddhists — why have they not advanced since Mohammed and Buddha died, is like asking why Catholics have not yet become Lutherans, why Lutherans have not yet become Presbyterians, why Presbyterians have not yet become Methodists, why Methodists have not yet become Baptists, why Baptists have not yet become Seventh-day Adventists, and why Seventh-day Adventists have not yet become Davidian Seventh-day Adventists?  The overall answer is that each successive denomination has failed to keep pace with the progress of Truth because each has failed to climb higher than the height of the founder of each respective denomination could possibly have led them in his life time.

The same spirit prevailed in the Christian church.  She never rose above the level on which the Apostles left her, and for a time she even fell almost to the bottom of the pit.  And she would have dropped out had God not again visited His people in the persons of Luther, Knox, Wesley, Campbell and the other reformers, through whom the Lord brought to light certain parts of Bible Truth that had long been trampled under foot.  But did the Christian world as a whole see the Light?  And did all walk in It?  No, indeed not, not as a people, but only as individuals. This is what accounts for the present multi-sectarian world; ……

Again we note that in Victor T. Houteff’s explanation the same as the quote by Victor T. Houteff in No. 7 above “… that while Satan has not been able to overthrow every individual member, he has, though, been able to overthrow every Movement to date“, the quote above is the opposite which is said to be able to see and realize that organizations have been used by Satan continuously. just “as individuals.”

11. Many times the trial was dropped by leaders from within the congregation itself. (The Symbolic Code Vol. 10 no. 7, May 1955 pp. 7 & 8)

Let it be remembered that God’s servants seldom met opposition from the world.  Their trouble was from false brethren in the church.  We shall never be able to do the work of Elijah by good words and fair speeches.  And if we bear the message of Elijah, we shall incur the displeasure of the unconsecrated and demand a fight to the finish.  It is also true that the church of God has never been led away from the Truth by a false message or persecution; she was overthrown time and again by the leaderships from within the church.  Such have split the church in numerous sections and brought about division after division and disrepute to the cause of Christ.

The clues about the membership card of the organization that have no meaning, every organization will be defeated and in the end it will be Satan’s tools and the people chosen by God to work not through the lift of hands, the small groups that God will choose and destruction. repeated hearings from organizational leaders are basically sufficient to provide an overview of the answers to our questions, but for further exploration we now let us trace to Victor T. last assignment in:

a. Timely Greetings Vol. II no. 2 pp. 16 – 19. (1947)

In the sermon about One shepherd to accomplish what a multitude of them failed to accomplish described using the prophecy of Jeheskiel 34, Victor T. Houteff explained that all pastors as they approach the completion of work for the congregation will be found not feeding His sheep and to all these shepherds will be cut off and replaced by a shepherd alone, namely David (Hosea 3 : 4, 5) whom God will choose from among those who are saved at the gathering of the first fruits, here is one explanation:

Ezek. 34 : 4, 5 — “The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.  And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.”

The explanation from Victor T. Houteff :

This careless attitude on the part of the shepherds is causing the laity to wander from one ism to another in search of spiritual food and physical care.  Yes, they wander, so to speak, from one hill to another, many of whom have figuratively become meat for beasts (isms) because there is no shepherd to care for the sheep, but there are shearers to take the wool from their backs, and the fat from under their ribs.  Shameful, indeed!  And who dare refuse to declare what God says?

Ezek. 34 : 11 – 16 — “For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search My sheep, and seek them out.  As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.  And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.  I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.  I will feed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.  I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.”

The explanation from Victor T. Houteff :

“… God has promised that where the shepherds are not true he will take charge of the flock himself.  God has never made the flock wholly dependent upon human instrumentalities.  But the days of purification of the church are hastening on apace.  God will have a people pure and true.  In the mighty sifting soon to take place, we shall be better able to measure the strength of Israel.  The signs reveal that the time is near when the Lord will manifest that his fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor.” — “Testimonies”, Vol. 5, pg. 80.

This sermon of Victor T. Houteff appears to be directed at the pastors of the General Conference, but although Victor T. Houteff does not direct Jehezkiel 34’s prophecy to the Davidian organization, because the Davidian organization is a reorganization of the General Conference organization, the pastors of the organization Davidian must also be the party to whom this prophecy is concerned.

Note that the prophecy shows the conditions at which the completion work for the congregation will end, which is a brief period of the state of carrying out the work of the shepherds before God will transfer the shepherding assignment of sheep to just one shepherd, namely David, and in the prophetic description it says that there is no shepherd who carries out his duty to feed the sheep as God commanded.

With this in mind, the question is who were the shepherds before the election of God to just one shepherd, namely David? Isn’t the answer we can give is the pastors of the General Conference, but are the pastors of the Davidian organization not included in that prophecy? Let us examine in more depth this prophecy of Jehezkiel 34:

  1. The words “even I” and “I will feed” remind us of the prophecy of Isaiah 63 : 1 – 5 which prophesies the day of God’s vengeance which will occur in two places, namely in Edom and in Bozrah, where in Isaiah’s prophecy it says “I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with Me” and “And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore Mine Own arm brought salvation unto Me; and My fury, it upheld Me.”  From these words we can get that the shepherds both in Edom and in Bozrah or we exemplify to the General Conference and Waco Texas should if they carry out their duties as good shepherds they have helped God, but in these two prophecies they both the General Conference and its reorganization organization Waco Texas have both failed God and forced God himself who had to step down to carry out his duties of shepherding his sheep.
  2. The words As a shepherd seeketh out his flock shows us that the task of examining the flock should not be the task of God, but the task of His shepherds and the actions of God which are like a shepherd He does because the shepherds are from the General organization. The Conference as well as the reorganization organization Waco Texas did not carry out its duties as instructed.
  3. After we slowly discuss this verse, maybe in our minds we may ask, is not Victor T. Houteff as the messenger of God also the pastor of the Davidian organization who of course also does not escape being considered a shepherd who does not carry out His duties? Through the words …..in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered and from the prophecy of Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 which we have discussed above which mentions “O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”  We get the answer when the time of fulfillment of this prophecy was in the period Victor T. Houteff was still alive or after he died. The clearer conclusion that we get is the condition of pastors who do not carry out their duties as instructed by God, both from the General Conference organization and the Davidian organization which was the reorganization of the General Conference after 1962, meaning that the existence of the Davidian organization was re-founded in 1991. earlier we tried to do a test to find whether there were imaginations or examples that illustrate their existence again, in fact it is recognized in Jehezkiel 34’s prophecy, but its recognition is not as a true organization but as an organization symbolized as shepherds who will receive retribution from God.

b. Timely Greetings Vol. II no. 45 p. 17 (1950) :

“Now the manifest truth is that if time should last, and if we are to stay in the pathway of true Christianity where the light shines, then all must do something about this badly neglected work of caring for the needy, for it cannot be accomplished from one central location, but must necessarily be localized to every state and country wherever the message of the hour takes “root downward and bears fruit upward.”

The quotation is the same as what was prophesied in Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 above, so that in the last period for the church when we are now the work is no longer carried out as the Lord did in the previous steps of reform, when we are now especially after being cut Pastor of God, God no longer entrusts the accomplishment of work through  “one central location.” The timing of the fulfillment of the instructions as quoted above would not have been possible when Victor T. Houteff was still alive and leading the Davidian organization, because if that was the case then of course Victor T. Houteff himself was also Satan’s tool to defeat His trial and of course there would be no one who able to survive when His sudden arrival to His temple and the presence of green grass also certainly does not only come from the center on Mount Carmel Waco, Texas.

c. The White House Recruiter p. 33 (1951).

Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day. It is, moreover, but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144,000 first-fruit servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits (Rev. 7 : 9). The Enemy will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144,000.

From the above quote, Victor T. Houteff gives a clue about the future development of the Davidian organization after he wrote the White House book and from that book we do not get a clear enough explanation of the meaning of his words about how and when to apply this surprising thing. In this quote we get a hint that there will be a death blow to come that will befall the organization that holds the eleventh hour message, the organization in question is of course the Davidian organization he founded, because the General Conference organization has been won and is in the hands of Satan and the words the word “eleventh-hour church” also refers to current holders of truth. In the quotation, we can also understand that the mention of “adversary” is found in two mentions, the first in the singular form and the second in the plural form. It goes on to say the attack will use every means possible to block the release of the first 144,000 fruits.

Then in its development we find that he died and the organization was disbanded in 1962, which later Waco Texas ownership transferred to the Presbytarian church, and furthermore, there was also the re-purchase of Waco Texas by some people who claimed to be Davidian and founded the Davidian organization in 1991, only then We can understand the meaning of Victor T. Houteff’s instructions, namely the first blow that comes from an enemy that is written as a singular or single, we can conclude that it is a blow that comes from Satan as a fulfillment of the disbandment of the organization in 1962 and then there is the next blow that is inflicted by the enemy that is written plural or more than one enemy who is characterized as having the same personality as the priests in the time of Christ as a blow from those who claim to be Davidians and their organization in 1991.

After the devastating blow of 1962 the Davidian movement resulted in no more organization and no more center of movement as a fulfillment of Victor T. Houteff’s shocking instructions and therefore also in these instructions Victor T. Houteff has reminded us to be “alert,” we need to test the re-establishment of the Davidian organization in 1991 to find out whether this is part of the enemy’s efforts or the next journey of God’s plan after the death of His messenger by using some of the guiding instructions given by Victor T. Houteff to us, namely:

Here we are told that prophecy, a vision, is the acid test by which to judge purported Bible Truth; that is, if the thing is not in prophecy, if there is no vision of it found in the writings of the prophets, then, there is no truth in it. Yes, the visions of the prophets are to be our visions if we must be preserved. — Timely Greetings vol. II no. 24 p. 15.

…….. , if never before we should see that where there is a type there is also an antitype, and that where there is no type, there is no Truth. – Timely Greetings vol. I no. 47 p. 15.

Because the reappearance of the Davidian organization in Waco Texas in 1991 is not supported by any delusions nor are there any examples from the past journeys of God’s people that can give confidence to those of us who no longer have a visible leader and can only rely on leadership of God alone, it can be concluded that the return of the Davidian organization to its establishment in Waco Texas in 1991 was a fulfillment of every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144,000 first-fruit servants.”

d. The Symbolic Code vol. 10 no. 1 (September 1954), pp. 3 – 6.

Now again, with even greater emphasis toward reaching her goal, Mount Carmel Center makes the following announcement to all faithful Davidians who will realize that this good news is perhaps nothing short of a sign. Mount Carmel Center, by commencing to first sell its excess property, then the whole is symbolically leading the way to the program that is outlined by the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, in the words:

“ Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath and buyeth that field.” Matthew 13 : 44, The Lord himself is leading the way.

“ …Jesus has made it possible for you to accept His love, and in happy co-operation with Him to work under its fragrant influence. HE requires you to use your possessions in unselfish service, that His plan for the salvation of souls shall be carried forward with power. He expects you to give your undivided energies to His work.

“ Would you make your property secure? Place it in the hands that bears the nail-print of the crucifixion. Retain it in your possession, and it will be your eternal loss. Give it to God, and from that moment it bears His inscription. It is sealed with His immutability. Would. Would you enjoy your substance? Then use it for the blessing of the suffering.” — Testimonies, Vol. 9. pages 50, 51.

“I saw that if any held on their property, and did not inquire of the Lord as to their duty, He would not make duty known, and they would be permitted to keep their property, and in the time of trouble it would come up before them like a mountain to crush them, and they would try to dispose of it, but would not be able. I heard some mourn like this: ‘The cause was languishing, God’s people were starving for the truth, and we made no effort to supply the lack; now our property is useless. Oh, that we had let it go, and laid up treasure in heaven!’ I saw that a sacrifice did not increase, but it decreased ad was consumed, I also saw that God had not required all of His people to dispose off their property at the same time, but they desired to be taught, He would teach them, in a time of need, when to sell and how much to sell. Some have been required to dispose of their property in times past to sustain the advent cause, while others have been permitted to keep theirs until a time of need, Then, as the cause needs it, their duty is to sell” — Early Writings, page 57.

We see each passing day more and more that God requires His people to gladly support His cause. First by their tithes and offerings, (Malachi 3 : 8 – 10), and at last by selling all, if they would enter into life eternal. He who takes part in the first of His requirements, will at last with joy go all the way by selling all when God gives the command. Thus only may he joyfully buy the “field” with the great “treasure.”

It now becomes very obvious that the time is   short, the he who would be ready for the “great super” and for his eternal home, will have his eyes open to truth and his heart set on his eternal welfare. God will direct him day by day.

Certainly then this move could be a signpost to both Davidians and to Laodiceans that the eleventh-hour message is on the very verge of a final and all-out effort to reclaim the church from the hands of the Enemy.

Then who knows, but the Lord, that this heart stirring example may soon turn into a sounding alarm and be followed by every faithful Davidian believer throughout the land. Even now, the Lord’s example to raise funds by disposing of His possessions, is a loud cry to every Davidian to awake to the fact that he in privileged to join the campaign with faithful tithe and offering at first, and at last to swell the funds by giving everything so that the work may be finished and the saints be gathered home!

The above quote is a statement by Victor T. Houteff who was conveyed in his late life in accordance with the guidelines given to us that God’s truth is given step by step, so of course the statements in his sermon and writings that were delivered before he died on February 5 1955 is what must be held so that all previous understandings that have been held for a long time and are believed to be willing to be changed. In the above quotation we find that God will take control in His own hands, he did not trust a shepherd when the Davidian organization was disbanded in 1962, besides that God has also given him instructions on how Satan will work by giving deadly blows that he does not understand. understand when writing it for us and lastly also by exemplifying Matthew 13 : 44 Victor T. Houteff gave a surprising and thrilling delivery of God’s commandment for the Davidian people to sell all their wealth because previously in The Symbolic Code, Vol. 1, No. 14. (August, 1935), pp. 5 and in several of his statements in his preaching  Victor T. Houteff gave confidence that the work would be done through the organization Waco Texas which is the emblem of Mount Carmel.

The incident sold all the assets of Waco Texas and then dissolved the organization by Mrs. Houteff in 1962, although very shocking and disappointing to followers of the truth now, but basically this action was the implementation of the last order given by Victor T. His command to sell the whole thing as he illustrates the example of the parable of Matthew 13 : 44.

After the dissolution of the Davidian organization by Mrs. Houteff in 1962 the Davidian members have been scattered to form their respective groups and no longer have a central leadership organization and Waco Texas, which previously symbolized Mount Carmel, the control has been owned by the Presbyterian church until there are some Davidians who claim to be successors of Waco Texas leadership organization of Victor T. Houteff in 1991.

Ladies and gentlemen, pay attention and pay close attention to the results of the tracing of the instructions given by Victor T. Houteff above, which illustrates that in the end the completion work for the Laodicean trial was no longer entrusted with the leadership of the organization, in this case Waco Texas, the fulfillment of the above instructions was precisely new. will be fulfilled after Victor T. Houteff died and the organization was dissolved in 1962, it can be concluded that because the words “every denomination” means no exception to the Davidian organization itself and it would not be possible for him to warn his sheep not to trust the Davidian organization while he was  at work to feed the flock and call for a siege on the city of Jerusalem. Although he himself wrote various instructions which led to the conclusion that God no longer entrusted to an organization in the last period of settlement for the trial, he did not understand how and when the time for the fulfillment of these instructions would be fulfilled. We can now conclude that this is the result of carrying out the commandment Our duty is to prove God’s Word correct rather than to hold tenaciously to our preconceptions and paying attention to as we witness them day by day as indicated by the guidelines that have been described at the beginning of the discussion.

FIRST CONCLUSION

The quote related to the organization describes every satanic organization capable of overthrowing it, so that God no longer entrusts the settlement work to the court through the organization and the time is intended after Victor T. Houteff’s death, namely the final period nearing completion of work for the trial.

Furthermore, in order to complete our analysis and not to say that we put aside various quotations that do not agree with our views, here we continue our search to:

Other quotes from Victor T. Houteff’s writings on the existence of the organization represented by Mount Carmel

1. The Symbolic Code Vol. 1 no. 14 (August 1935) p. 5.

True we are establishing our headquarters on this mount that is found in prophecy, but our stay here shall be very, very short, for “He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.” (Rom. 9 : 28.)

It might be interesting to Elder G. to know that the naming of our “camp” “Mt. Carmel Center” came about in the same way as the naming of our publications “The Shepherd’s Rod,” for we did not know before hand that it was in prophecy until after our attention was called to Mic. 7 : 14 and Amos 1 : 2.

2. The Answerer book 3, Question no. 66 :

How do the Davidians regard the Seventh-day Adventist denomination? What position do they take concerning the writings of Mrs. E.G. White and what does Mt. Carmel stand for?

Answer:

Upon the death of Sister White, in 1915, the gift of Inspiration, the active Spirit of Prophecy, became quiescent, no longer manifesting Itself for a time. With the church thus cut off from the very source of its life, as was the Jewish church from the death of the prophet Malachi to the rise of John the Baptist, how could it maintain its vitality and growth? Hence, now as then, there has followed the same inevitable spiritual malnutrition and deformity, accompanied with a long train of woes.

Against this dark background of spiritual decline and consumption (wretchedness, misery poverty, blindness, and nakedness), and imminent end (being spued out), stands out in bold relief the sternly chiseled work of Mt. Carmel Center, as did the flaming summit of ancient Carmel amid the idolatry and decadence of apostate Israel. Again type meets antitype……..

And now louder and louder sounds the voice of Carmel, through the series of The Shepherd’s Rod publications, “the Lord’s voice…unto the city, and,” says the Divine Author, “the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the Rod, and Who hath appointed it.” Mic. 6 : 9.

“Feed thy people,” He commands, “with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel.” Mic. 7 : 14.

 …………………

Of necessity, then, Mt. Carmel Center is being built as a base of operations for training and fitting workers to carry this special message to the church; for educating deserving youth; for caring for worthy poor, aged, widowed, and orphaned; and for ministering to the sick and infirm according to God’s plan. It has heard God’s double charge to it: “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isa. 58 : 1. ………………..

Mt. Carmel’s great burden is to get this manifold work done as soon as possible, so that we may then go home to our eternal rest, no more to be fettered with the shackles of sin.

3. The Answerer book 2, Question no. 35 :

We should like to know if it is true as we have heard that Mt. Carmel’s policy is to treat strictly confidential all correspondence and requests for literature.

Answer:

It is one of Mt. Carmel’s inviolable office ethics that no correspondence or requests for literature are made public save at the instance or permission of the writer.

4. The Answerer book 4, Question no. 88 :

Most of us have had a struggle to loose ourselves from the bands laid upon us by the church’s present leadership, and it seems no more than right that we have the assurance that the Lord is directing in all the movements at Mt. Carmel. May we know just how much of the work of Mt. Carmel is under the direction of the Lord?

Answer:

………. “Satan,” says the Spirit of Prophecy, “has ability to suggest doubts and to devise objections to the pointed testimony that God sends, and many think it a virtue, a mark of intelligence in them, to be unbelieving, and to question and quibble. Those who desire to doubt will have plenty of room. God does not propose to remove all occasion for unbelief. He gives evidence, which must be carefully investigated with a humble mind and a teachable spirit, and all should decide from the weight of evidence.” — Testimonies, Vol. 3 p. 255.

Moreover, no man can judge the work by his own wisdom or by the wisdom of other human beings, for, says the Spirit of Truth: “The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness….Let me tell you that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning.” — Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300. ………………….

To Present-truth believers, one of the surest evidences that the Lord is leading in the work of Mt. Carmel, is that regardless of ceaseless opposition, paucity of laborers, and many other handicaps, the work is steadily moving onward with an irresistible power. It is, indeed, like the mustard seed.

5. The Shepherd’s Rod Tract 1 about Ezekiel 4 pp. 74, 75 :

“And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.” Ezek. 4 : 2.

To “lay siege against it, means, of course, to invade it with an army of reformatory workers and compel it to surrender — to come to the knowledge of the truth herein revealed.  Very evident it is, then, that the message of the hour, and it alone, should be brought before the people of God.

“And build a fort against it” — make sure that none escape, good or bad.

Then “cast a mount”; spare not effort, and take precaution to secure the city.

“Set the camp also against it”; that is, make a temporary lodging place for your workers, Headquarters from which to carry on the work, and make preparation to remain there until you have conquered the city. This is the devout purpose in building Mt. Carmel Center, this is its given goal.

6. The Answerer book 5 :

  1. Question No. 115 concerning the clothing of the Mount Carmelites,
  2. Question No. 121 regarding gifts or talents that must be implemented, one of which is establishing the Mount Carmel organization,
  3. Question No. 141 about bonds,
  4. Question No. 154 on how to hold a position in the Mount Carmel organization, whether to have a membership card,
  5. Question No. 164 and 165 regarding admission to the Davidian priesthood institution.

You notice and note that it appears from the above quotations showing how the Davidian organization in the early period was founded until the period of its journey carrying out its task of besieging the city of Jerusalem while Victor T. Houteff was alive and still in charge, which is very different from Victor’s quotes and instructions. T. Houteff about the organization above which we cannot help but conclude will happen after Victor T. Houteff dies.

It is true that when we read the above quotations it can be seen that Victor T. Houteff reminds us not to hesitate and continue to believe in God’s work to the Davidian organization in Waco Texas which symbolizes Mount Carmel and if there are people who question and doubt, of course it can be concluded that the spirit which is leading that person is not the same spirit that led Victor T. Houteff, which is why these quotes are still held and maintained by some of the holders of the truth today regardless of the various quotes or hints that have been given by Victor T. Houteff in books and other explanations as we have discussed above.

Basically, this is how we must understand as understood by the reporter, but according to the guidelines at the beginning of the discussion above, the various beliefs that Victor T. Houteff shared with us were different when Victor T. Houteff surprisingly had to end his struggle before what he himself believes can be done, so that we are still alive after the death of Victor T. Houteff in 1955 and after the disbandment of the Davidian organization in 1962 by Mrs. Houteff and the sale of all the assets of Waco Texas which is Mount Carmel and then the ownership transferred to the control of the Presbyterian church, so we must return to continue the experience of God’s people in the past which must change, evaluate the understanding and beliefs that have been shared by Victor T. Houteff. about the existence of Waco Texas or Mount Carmel.

Then related to the Davidian buying back of Waco Texas in 1991 and re-establishing the Davidian organization and claiming to be Mount Carmel which continues the siege order of the city of Jerusalem, basically pleases us holders of the truth now, but in accordance with the guidelines discussed earlier. that if the thing is not in prophecy, if there is no vision of it found in the writings of the prophets, then, there is no truth in it and where there is no type, there is no Truth. We cannot recognize the Davidian organization which was re-founded in 1991 as a continuation of God’s leadership through the organization, but rather provides a description of its existence as a fulfillment of Victor T. Houteff’s warning about “We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day.”, as he recounted in the Book of Formers of the White House page 32 (1951).

SECOND CONCLUSION

From the quotes about the existence of the organization that symbolizes Mount Carmel that Victor T. Houteff reminds us not to doubt God’s leadership can be mapped in the early period when it was founded and while still under Victor T. Houteff’s leadership, or in other words it is still in the early period. and the middle period.

The fading away of Mount Carmel

After we studied the existence of the organization and sought answers whether in the last period, especially after the death of Victor T. Houteff in 1955, God still entrusted his work through the organization and came to the conclusion that in the final period approaching completion for the council that God did not entrust the completion of His work through the organization, again we get an excerpt from Victor T. Houteff’s writings which gives an idea of how the work will be completed through Waco Texas or Mount Carmel which seems to contradict the above conclusion, is found in The Symbolic Code, Vol. 1, No. 14. (August, 1935), pp. 5 – 7, as follows:

In the prophecy of Amos we read:

“The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.”

With a few comments on the above scripture, any Bible student will recognize at a glance that it applies at the time of the end, as explained by the gospel prophet: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills;…for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”  (Isa. 2 : 2, 3), which in the language of Amos is, “Utter His voice from Jerusalem.”  Looking to this same time Joel puts it as follows: “And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?” (Joel 2 : 11.)

As Amos says, “The habitations of the shepherds shall mourn,” it is obvious that Amos’ prophecy is yet future, for the word “habitations” (places) is in the plural form which cannot be applied to one shepherd’s habitation (denomination) but to all that be in existence at that time.  The term “shepherds” means, as understood, the same as “the ancient men which were before the house” — the ministers. “Testimonies for the Church,” Vol. 5, p. 211.  Note that the shepherds are not themselves to mourn but their “habitations” (their houses); that is, the membership of their churches, which fact reveals that it will be thus at the time when the sleeping multitudes in the churches awake from their spiritual insensibility and find that the shepherds whom they have implicitly trusted for their salvation had deceived all those who followed them.

The prophet Jeremiah in the following words explains that this wailing by those who are thus deceived will be at the close of probation.  For they shall say “the harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” (Jer. 8 : 20.)  That is, after the harvest, the time in which they could have been saved, they will realize that probationary time has closed.  Then “the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.”  Hence, before that time the top of Carmel must have been green with much pasture, otherwise there would be nothing to wither; that is, though Carmel has now plenty of pasture (present truth), when probation closes it shall be deserted (“wither”), for says the Spirit of Prophecy: “In the time of trouble we all fled from the cities and villages.” — Early Writings, p. 34.

Thus shall the top of Carmel wither, and those who do not take heed to the word, “To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your heart,” at length will be alarmed that their opportunity for accepting the truth has slipped away.  Then in their hasty, frenzied effort to acquaint themselves with present truth which went forth from the top of Carmel, to their surprise they shall find that Carmel has finished its work, its inhabitants removed, and probation closed, at which time the inhabitants of “Carmel” can but repeat, “the harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we have nothing for thee.”

Then it shall come to pass that “They shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.  In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.  Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.”  (Amos 8 : 12, 13, 11.)  Oh, what a disappointment that will be!

And now “mine eyes” with the eyes of the lamenting prophet, “do fail with tears,… for the destruction of the daughter of my people because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.  Thy prophets [teachers] have seen vain and foolish things for thee, and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.” (Lam. 2 : 11, 14.)

As the Lord has never left His people in darkness, we find the work of the Shepherd’s Rod clearly outlined in prophecy throughout the Bible, and the only reason that our leading brethren cannot see the truth in it and do not know “who hath appointed it” is because they are trying to see it through dollars and cents instead of through the Spirit of Prophecy, the eyes for the church, through which only can they see the truth and the true state of their condition of spiritual blindness, poverty and wretchedness, and a need for “eye salve,” “for what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?  Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” (1 Cor. 2 : 11.)

But now as “the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come” (John 16 : 13), for without the Spirit of God “no man” knoweth the things of God.

In this quote we get an explanation, among others:

  1. Mount Carmel was the center of the only work of God for the spiritual ministry of the church before moving to the kingdom of David.
  2. Mount Carmel because it provides food for the spirituality of the church, of course as long as it hasn’t withered away, it is still full of green grass.
  3. Through the words Hence, before that time the top of Carmel must have been green ……. otherwise there would be nothing to wither shows that the measure of knowing when Mount Carmel withered is marked when Mount Carmel was not there. green grass or being able to provide more food for the spirituality of the church.
  4. It appears that the understanding given by Victor T. Houteff regarding the existence of Mount Carmel will be until the end of the merciful period which is then said to have moved its inhabitants and of course he means his transfer to the kingdom of David.
  5. However, back according to the command that Victor T. Houteff has given to us, namely Our duty is to prove God’s Word correct rather than to hold tenaciously to our preconceptions and pay attention to as we witness them day by day.” Then because unexpectedly and surprisingly the Davidian organization was abandoned by its leader Victor T. Houteff in 1955 and followed by the dissolution of the Davidian organization in 1962 and the existence of Waco Texas after the Davidian organization left the church to the Presbyterian church until 1991, like it or not want we have to live the experience of Moses and other people of God before us, that is, must be willing to “change our way of thinking” and then continue the journey until the end (Timely Greetings vol. 1 no. 13 p. 6). The reason why we should adjust our understanding of the time of the withering of Mount Carmel from the previous one given by Victor T. Houteff at the time of probation ended for the trial to that moment in 1962 when the organization was dissolved is according to the explanation we get from the discussion of Victor T. Houteff above that if Mount Carmel has not withered it will be full of green grass and of course will always provide food for the congregation, but is it possible that the congregation during the years 1962 to 1991 was given food by the Presbyterian church? This question should be in our minds because the symbol of Mount Carmel as described by Victor T. Houteff cannot be assigned to any other location apart from Waco Texas. Meanwhile, the fulfillment of the time the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, that is when they voiced Jeremiah 8 : 20 is unchanged, that is, when the door of mercy is closed to the congregation.

THIRD CONCLUSION

Although the understanding of Mount Carmel’s tenure is in accordance with Victor T. Houteff until the door of pity for the closed session, because in its development “as we witness them day by day” it turns out that Victor T. Houteff suddenly died and the Davidian organization was dissolved long before the time. It is estimated that Mount Carmel completed its task, so the understanding that has been held based on the understanding shared by Victor T. Houteff regarding the withering time of Mount Carmel must be torn down and concluded that it occurred at the dissolution of the Davidian organization in 1962.

Our understanding that must be willing to change and believe that God has no longer entrusted the accomplishment of work for the church to the organization since 1962 also needs to be applied to the symbol of Zechariah’s prophecy chapter 6 concerning the horse pair, where Zechariah’s Prophecy chapter 6 in all of Victor T. Houteff’s explanation does not There is a description of the process of ups and downs of a teji horse pair and very convincingly that the two horse pairs will continue to try to pull the cart until they are separated at the court cleaning, so that with the dissolution of the Davidian organization in 1962 we must be willing to change our understanding of the leadership of the horse pair symbol The teji was transferred to other parties outside Waco Texas, because if the pair of teji horses were still understood to be represented by Waco Texas, then because after being sold and their ownership transferred to the Presbyterian church it should provide green grass. If Jerusalem was continued by the Presbyterian church before it was bought back in 1991, doesn’t the attempt to force understanding like that which was intended to maintain the existence of the Waco Texas that was bought back in 1991 messed up the sequence of events for the completion of the work journey for the church? Where is the text showing that the Presbyterian church in the last Reformation period was assigned to fill the gap between 1962 and 1991 before the Davidians bought back the Waco Texas? There are many more questions that can be asked if we continue to ensure that the symbol of the true horse pair of Zechariah chapter 6 resides with the Waco Texas organization.

Furthermore, the symbols of the two pairs of Dauk horses and Teji horses from the Zechariah chapter 6 prophecy must still exist until they are separated at the next court cleansing, because if we conclude that no party has replaced the existence of the Davidian Waco Texas organization after the 1962 incident, then it is certain. God’s attempt to take Jerusalem from the enemy’s hands has ended and the attempt to lift mankind back from the covered sins that Jesus has committed on the cross for 4000 years is a complete failure and in vain, the chariot without hindrance can be pulled by the horse pair of Dauk as part of the emblem of the General The conference went to take him to the emblematic southern land of the world. Therefore the disbandment of the organization in 1962 fulfilled the sequence of stages of implementing God’s plan for the completion of the work for the congregation as the prophecy of Zechariah 13: 6, 7, among others, states “Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”, where according to the verse and the understanding discussed above, the Teji horse pair are continued by small groups, so that the effort continues to pull the carriage to the promised land.

The Lord’s way of working in the period nearing completion for the congregation as a fulfillment of Ellen G. White’s words in Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300.

From the results of our discussion above related to how the execution of the final work for the church in its development after Victor T. Houteff died fulfilling the prophecy of Zechariah 16: 6,7 we can find that today God no longer works through organizations but through small groups in the country or the area where the truth is rooted and bears fruit, then at this time we can fully understand the words of Ellen G. White below:

Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300 :

“….. that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message to be given to the world. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.”

The quotation of Ellen G. White’s writings, among others, says:

1. “… the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things,”

From these words we can see that in God leading the journey of God’s people, lifting the condition of mankind who has fallen into sin from time to time has the same way, but especially for this last work He will do something completely different from the same way beforehand, for that let us first evaluate how God used to do in the past. In general, if we observe it from the time of the pouring of the flood, God in an effort to help and encourage sinners sent a messenger, namely the prophet Noah and his ark to provide a way of opportunity to repent, and so God always sends messengers to lead the journey of His people on each generation such as in the days of Abraham, Lot, Joseph the son of Jacob who miraculously became a great man in the kingdom of Pharaoh in Egypt, Moses who was assigned to bring the Israelites from Egypt to the land of Canaan, Joshua who was assigned to continue the journey of the Israelites to the land of Canaan, Gideon , David, in the new covenant period he sent John the baptizer, then the apostles, likewise during the reform era he sent his reformers along with their vessels / vehicles, namely his church starting from Martin Luther to the arrival of Ellen G. White and the fourth angel Victor T. Houteff follows up with the Waco Texas organization that combines his voice with  the 3rd angel in charge of feeding and reforming the last church of Laodicea so that all of them are not swayed by the winds of teaching. This is the usual way that we can find in God’s efforts to lift His people back from the slump of sin. However, what was believed and expected that Victor T. Houteff who served as the last envoy to accompany the sheep until the end of work for the congregation died unexpectedly in 1955 and then the Davidian organization was also dissolved in 1962, resulting in his death. Victor T. Houteff and the absence of a Davidian organization, the Davidians no longer have a powerful leader that looks like Moses before as a visible powerful leader besides the invisible powerful leader, namely the Lord Jesus, thus the position of God’s people after that to our present time. no longer belonging to any organization is completely different from God’s leadership in the past.

2. “…… contrary to any human planning”

Because there is no more powerful leadership that was seen in the days of Moses and there is no longer any organization as a shelter, of course this unusual way of working of God is contrary to human understanding and thinking, because in general every movement made by humans is always humans entrust the management and the need for a unification of views that are controlled by some form of organization along with a respected management structure, so that the direction of travel of an organization can be controlled and one another does not have different views.

3. “God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands.”

An unusual way is that in the absence of visible powerful leaders and no shelter in the form of an organization, and since the work is said to be completed where the truth is rooted and bears fruit and each stands alone, then of course it will clearly show that especially in this last work God Himself will control the journey and progress of the finishing work for the church and of course those who can see first of all are His workers and then those who accept the truth offered experience His leadership themselves.

An understanding of the words Testimonies To Ministers p. 300 that we said was really fulfilled after Victor T. Houteff and the dissolution of this organization when we compare it with the understanding given by Victor T. Houteff in the answer to the question in Answerer book question No. 88 where it was concluded that the words of God were in control in His own hands was fulfilled when Victor T. Houteff came to give the message to the church. Based on this understanding, we can conclude that this understanding was the limited understanding at that time owned by Victor T. Houteff because he in his writings seemed to think that he and his organization would still exist and stand until the closing of the door of mercy for the church, but because of its development. which we witnessed surprisingly he died and the organization was also dissolved in 1962, so according to the guidelines mentioned above in the book Timely Greetings volumes 1 no. 13 p. 6 which says that we are not the only ones who have to change understanding after in its development an event does not match its fulfillment with what has been believed, we must also be prepared to change our understanding by paying attention to developments that occur.

On this, we can also get an understanding of God’s leadership in The Leviticus of DSDA book on page 15, which is as follows:

THE MOSAIC — A COUNTERPART

“The government of Israel was characterized by the most thorough organization, wonderful alike for its completeness and its simplicity. The order so strikingly displayed in the perfection and arrangement of all God’s created works was manifest in the Hebrew economy. God was the center of authority and government, the sovereign of Israel. Moses stood as their visible leader, by God’s appointment, …

The quote illustrates that as an example of his rival to the time of Victor T. Houteff, then of course the center of power and government is in Jesus and the visible leader is certainly Victor T. Houteff, so the words Testimonies To Ministers p. We can conclude that the notion that God is in control in His own hands has two stages of fulfillment, namely in the first stage, God in his leadership still has a leader who can be seen as an example of Moses’s rival, Victor T. Houteff, but after Victor T. Houteff died and the organization was dissolved leadership is fully held directly by the center of power and government, namely in the hands of the Lord Jesus Himself without any visible leader.

From a fairly detailed discussion regarding the journey of the group of 5 wise virgins who demand our attention and humility to be willing to change the previously believed and held understanding, but there is one part of the period that we have not quite clearly discussed, namely the first period in 1929 until 1935, 1929 was the beginning of Victor T. Houteff to convey his message to the Adventist Church, although Victor T. Houteff had not formed an organization in 1929, it was a very defining time for Adventist leadership to be willing to humbly accept the golden offer, white clothes, and eye patches to cover his poor condition, blind and naked as a result of rejecting the initial message of Revelation 18 : 1 brought by Bro. Jones and Wagoner in 1888. We notice, if among the holders of the truth today consider that the existence of an organization is crucial for the salvation of this last work, so that membership in the organization for those of us who wish to become one of the 144,000 is absolute, then The first period of the journey sequence of this group of 5 wise virgins can provide a convincing answer that it turns out that even before the existence of the organization in 1929 the rejection of the offer of truth Victor T. Houteff has been the determinant of the fulfillment of Revelation chapter 3’s prophecy regarding conditions the trial angel Laodicea and the words of Mrs. Ellen G. White who described the Adventist church as having retreated to Egypt. The rejection made by Adventist church leaders in 1929 also fulfilled the symbol of healing one of the heads of the indescribable beast symbol of Revelation chapter 13, so it is quite clear that it is not the organization that determines whether a person survives or not in the last days of the church.

This is our discussion in obtaining answers to tracing the clues of Victor T. Houteff’s writing whether God has entrusted the completion of His work through the organization.

Furthermore, after we explore and understand how God will work and through whom He will entrust the completion of the final work for the church, to make it easier to understand the sequence of movement of the line of 5 wise virgins of truth holders now since Victor T. Houteff started working can be seen in in the following chart:
