When and Why is God

taking the Reins in His own Hands ?

Prior to His return to the Father in Heaven in year 31, Jesus has ever said : “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth : for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak ; and he will shew you things to come.” – John 16 : 13.

The Spirit of truth has come ever since the first day of Pentecost. And at the same day, as we all know, more than three thousand souls have been converted into the Christian church, and have been brought into the all truth.

All the rest of the Jews who failed to be converted right by Jesus during His mission in Palestine, most of them were just converted right under the guidance of the Spirit ever since the first day of Pentecost. The servant of the Lord said :

“The Holy Spirit is Christ’s representative, but divested of the personality of humanity, and independent thereof. Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally. Therefore it was for their interest that He should go to the Father, and send the Spirit to be His successor on earth……………………..

By the Spirit the Saviour would be accessible to all. In this sense He would be nearer to them than if He had not ascended on high.” – The Desire of Ages, p. 669.

Up to the time of the end the Spirit would always be with the people of God. Since God has only one church along the whole period of the New Testament, then despite John the Revelator called it by the name, “Seven churches in Asia”, it is in fact the same church that has lived along the whole seven periods of the history of the New Testament.

The first church is the church in Ephesus, in the time of the apostle Paul, then the seventh is the Laodicea church in the time of the end, which is the Seventh-day Adventist church ever since 1844.

The Divinely Appointed Ministry = The Prophet and the Angel of the Church

The churches ever since the first the Ephesian church, have been predicted by John the Revelator to be led and controlled each by an “angel of the church.” The first church is led and controlled by “the angel of the Ephesians church,” the second church by the angel of the church of Smyrna, the third church by the angel of the church of Pergamum, the fourth church by the angel of the church of Thyatira, the fifth church by the angel of the church of Sardis, the sixth church by the angel of the church of Philadelphia, and the seventh church by the angel of the church of Laodicea, which is the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. To all these the Apostle Paul said:

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ : till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ : that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.” — Ephesians 4 : 11 – 14.

The same statement has been reiterated by Mrs. White in the following words:

“God has a church, and she has a divinely appointed ministry. ‘And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ …………..etc.“ – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 52.

Thus is it clear enough that either through Paul the Apostle, or through John the Revelator, even by the words of Mrs. White, we have been informed that there is but one church of God along the history of the New Testament era, and the church has a divinely appointed ministry comprising five official jobs, namely, the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, and the teacher. The personnel for the jobs will be appointed by the Lord Himself.

Our Laodicea church at the outset was established in 1844, and her angel of the church, the General Conference of SDA was first installed in 1863. In their spiritual condition at the beginning, either the church or her angel was indeed in their prime spiritual progress, that all of them have emerged as the wise virgins of the parable of Jesus. The servant of the Lord has testified this in her following statement:

“In the summer and autumn of 1844 the proclamation, “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh,” was given. The two classes represented by the wise and foolish virgins were then developed — one class who looked with joy to the Lord’s appearing, and who had been diligently preparing to meet Him; another class that, influenced by fear and acting from impulse, had been satisfied with a theory of the truth, but were destitute of the grace of God. In the parable, when the bridegroom came, “they that were ready went in with him to the marriage.” – The Great Controversy, p. 426.

“The proclamation, “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh,” in the summer of 1844, led thousands to expect the immediate advent of the Lord. At the appointed time the Bridegroom came, not to the earth, as the people expected, but to the Ancient of Days in heaven, to the marriage, the reception of His kingdom. “They that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” They were not to be present in person at he marriage; for it takes place in heaven, while they are upon the earth. The followers of Christ are to wait for their Lord, when He will return from the wedding. Luke 12 : 36. But they are to understand His work, and to follow Him by faith as He goes in before God. It is in this sense that they are said to go in to the marriage.” – Ibid., p. 427.

Those who were worthy of entrance into the marriage in 1844, were categorized as the five wise virgins of the parable of Jesus. Thus is the Laodicea church in her prime spiritual condition at the beginning in 1844.

The Failures of edifying the Body of Christ

The body of Christ is the church of Christ. So what is meant by the body of Christ in this time of the end, is inevitably none other than the Seventh-day Adventists of the Laodicea church. Since all the Apostles have accomplished their work in the first century, then ever since the time of DR. Martin Luther, there are only four jobs left of the divinely appointed ministry to be filled, namely the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, and the teacher. From these four “the prophet” is the highest job, therefore Mrs. Ellen G.White and Bro.Victor T. Houteff have been inspired, either by “directly inspired” or by “divinely called” to provide us with “The Testimonies of Jesus Christ” which have been developed into the so-called THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY in this time of the end. Thus are the rules of implementation of the Law that have been so simplified to enable us to have all the Ten Commandments of God be taken in our practical religion as those instructed by Moses in Deuteronomy 29 : 29.

Now though Sister White and Brother Houteff have died for a long time, and no more prophet alive now to succeed them among us, both of them are still being represented by their messages in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, even up to the end of time. The message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 by Brother Houteff with its great power has united with the third angel’s message of Revelation 14 by Mrs. Ellen G. White, that both the messages are now enlightening the earth, beginning in all our churches in the Laodicea.

Therefore the divinely appointed ministry in their task for “the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,” the Lord God has the following instruction for them to obey:

“O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at My mouth, and warn them from. Me.” The watchmen will need to live very near to God, to hear His word and be impressed with His Spirit, that the people may not look to them in vain.” – Testimony for the Church, vol. 4, p. 403.

“These watchmen represent the ministry, upon whose fidelity depends the salvation of souls. The stewards of the mysteries of God should stand as watchmen upon the walls of Zion; and if they see the sword coming, they should sound the note of warning. If they are sleepy sentinels, and their spiritual senses are so benumbed that they see and realize no danger, and the people perish, God will require their blood at the watchmen’s hands.” – Ibid., p. 402.

That is, that the divinely appointed ministry of those evangelists, pastors, and teachers, who are now living among us, should hear the words from the mouth of the Lord only, which He had sent them through His appointed agencies, Ellen G. White and Victor T. Houteff in THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. They will need to live very near to God, to hear His word and be impressed with His Spirit. Thus wise could the General Conference of SDA as the angel of the church of Laodicea could have edified the body of Christ, the Seventh-day Adventists, in this time of the end. But how is the fact in the churches now? Here again through John the Revelator the Lord warned of the spiritual declension of His divinely appointed ministry, which is the General Conference of SDA. Read for yourselves Revelation 3 : 14 – 19, and more clarification could be found in the article : “THE ANGEL OF LAODICEA AND HIS SPIRITUAL CONDITION AFTER YEAR 1888.“

Through the pen of John the Revelator, the Lord sent a very strong statement of His warning to the divinely appointed ministry at the General Conference of SDA in the following words : “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot : I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.”— Revelation 13 : 14 – 16.

Jesus’ threatening words to spew out of His mouth the General Conference of SDA should not be thought to be only a mere bluff, because later through the Review and Herald, February 25 1902 Mrs. White was also instructed to voice a special message, which is THE CALL FOR A SPIRITUAL REVIVAL AND A SPIRITUAL REFORMATION.

“Reformation”

Re-organization of the General Conference of SDA

The Call in the Review and Herald contains among others the following message:

“I am instructed to say that these words are applicable to Seventh-day Adventist churches in their present condition. The love of God has been lost, and this means the absence of love for one another. Self, self, self is cherished, and is striving for the supremacy. How long is this to continue? Unless there is a re-conversion, there will soon be such a lack of godliness, that the church will be represented by the barren fig tree. Great light has been given to her. She has had abundant opportunity for bearing much fruit. But selfishness has come in, and God says, ‘I ….. will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.’

“Jesus looked upon the pretentious, fruitless fig tree, and with mournful reluctance pronounced the words of doom. And under the curse of an offended God, the fig tree withered away. God help His people to make an application of this lesson while there is still time.

“Just before His ascension, Christ said to His disciples, ‘All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.’ God’s people today are not fulfilling this commission as they should. Selfishness prevents them from receiving these words in their solemn significance.

“In many hearts there seems to be scarcely a breath of spiritual life. This makes me very sad. I fear that aggressive warfare against the world, the flesh, and the devil has not been maintained. Shall we cheer on, by a half-dead Christianity, the selfish, covetous spirit of the world, sharing its ungodliness and smiling on its falsehood? Nay! By the grace of God let us be steadfast to the principles of truth, holding firm to the end the beginning of our confidence. We are to be ‘not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.’ One is our Master, even Christ. To Him we are to look. From Him we are to receive our wisdom. By His grace we are to preserve our integrity, standing before God in meekness and contrition, and representing Him to the world.

“Sermons have been in great demand in our churches. The members have depended upon pulpit declamations instead of on the Holy Spirit. Uncalled for and unused, the spiritual gifts bestowed on them have dwindled into feebleness. If the ministers would go forth into new fields, the members would be obliged to bear responsibilities, and by use their capabilities would increase.

“God brings against ministers and people the heavy charge of spiritual feebleness, saying, ‘I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked; I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayest see.’

“God calls for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation. Unless this takes place, those who are lukewarm will continue to grow more abhorrent to the Lord, until He will refuse to acknowledge them as His children.

“A revival and a reformation must take place under the ministration of the Holy Spirit. Revival and reformation are two different things. Revival signifies a renewal of spiritual life, a quickening of the powers of mind and heart, a resurrection from spiritual death. Reformation signifies a reorganization, a change in ideas and theories, habits and practices. Reformation will not bring forth the good fruit of righteousness unless it is connected with the revival of the Spirit. Revival and reformation are to do their appointed work, and in doing this work they must blend. “— Review and Herald, February 25, 1902.

“Revival and reformation are to do their appointed work ….,” thus said Mrs. White. But where are the appointed works to be found?

Since up to the time of her death in 1915 the appointed work for the Revival and Reformation was not as yet given, the leadership of the General Conference might then be no more aware of the need of Revival and Reformation to be carried out among us to prepare the people for the coming of Jesus. Nevertheless, since there is yet to come another message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 to unite with the third angel’s message to have the earth enlightened (Early Writings, p. 277), then the appointed work for the Revival and Reformation should have been anticipated to come with the last message. Then the rules for implementing the establishment of a new re-organized General Conference are to be based upon the Constitution and the By-laws to be provided in the Leviticus of Davidian SDA, by the last messenger of God, Victor T. Houteff.

Now with the establishment of the re-organized General Conference in Waco, Texas in 1935, to become the General Association of Davidian SDA, then the Lord would have spewed out of His mouth the angel of the Laodicean church to maintain the new one, which is the new Divinely appointed ministry of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas. It is impossible for the Lord to have His Church under the leadership of two Organizations, who are just against each other.

Therefore, although the Organization of General Conference of SDA and all its branch offices in all the world are yet standing regally up to now, every student of prophecies should have understood that as well as the other fallen churches outside are still exist, they also likewise are to exist up to the time of the purification of the church.

General Association of Davidian SDA

As the New Divinely Appointed Ministry

in Waco, Texas, USA

The new divinely appointed ministry has been established in 1935 in Waco, Texas, USA. consists of Bro. Victor T. Houteff as the prophet, and several other evangelists, pastors, and teachers. The same commissions addressed to Mrs. White and her evangelists, pastors and teachers as a divinely appointed ministry at the General Conference are still the same. The word of the Lord is:

And to Zerubbabel, who represented Bro. Victor T. Houteff as the last prophet of God in the time of the end, the commission is :

“This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might (of the ministers’ sermons) nor by power (of the General Conference’s Sabbath School lessons), but by My spirit (testimonies of God’s Spirit/The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY), saith the Lord of hosts.”…..The hands of Zerubbabel (the Rod message) have laid the foundation of this house; his hands (the same message) shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.” – Zechariah 4 : 6, 9. (In the brackets added)

Since the prophecy of Zechariah belongs to the church in the time of the end, and Zerubbabel represents Brother Victor T. Houteff, the prophet of the new divinely appointed ministry, then the words of the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY offered to him would belong also to the whole members of the newly appointed ministry in the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas. Therefore, that the appointed ministry may know what message should be taught to the people, Bro. Houteff then said :

“The Bible and the books of the Spirit of Prophecy being the sole source of the Shepherd’s Rod message, therefore when the Rod is taught, the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy are taught.” – Fundamental Beliefs, p. 26.

Brother Victor T. Houteff died in 1955. During all of his life time the world knew of only one General Association of Davidian SDA located in Waco, Texas. In the meantime the Shepherd’s Rod message that has united with the Spirit of Prophecy of Mrs. White to become THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10 margins, has made tremendous progress in many places in the world of Seventh-day Adventist Church. Through bulks of tracts and booklets and even by the leaflets scattered freely everywhere, the proclamation of the message has successfully penetrated in many places. Now the call for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation as presented us in the Review and Herald of February 25, 1902 has at last successfully made its way into Indonesia and Australia some time in 1950. And this scene has ever since shown to Mrs. White sometime in the night season of which it has been testified by herself in the following words :

“I have been deeply impressed by scenes that have recently passed before me in the night season. There seemed to be a great movement – a work of revival – going forward in many places. Our people were moving into line, responding to God’s call. My brethren, the Lord is speaking to us. Shall we not heed His voice ? Shall we not trim our lamps, and act like men who look for their Lord to come ? The time is one that calls for light bearing, for action.” – Testimony to Ministers, p. 515.

On the contrary, however, despite tremendous progress has been reached during his life time, sometime prior to his death in 1955 the ordinary simple servant of the Lord, Brother Houteff, has left behind for us a statement of a very strange warning in the following words :

“Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day. It is, moreover, but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144.000 first fruit servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits (Revelation 7 : 9). The Enemy will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144.000.” — The White House Recruiter, p. 33.

There are four important points of the warning that must be carefully taken to be considered:

There is to come a knockout blow that caused the Davidian Seventh-Day Adventists to fall spiritually unconscious for a period of time.
The same knockout blow would also come from surprisingly unsuspected foes, from professed friends of the gospel of the Davidian leadership themselves. That is, there is to come out from within the new divinely appointed ministry in Waco, Texas, the enemies of God and His truth.
The professed friends of the gospel or the newly appointed ministry in Waco, Texas, are well known of their honesty and services, but they are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day.
As agents of the Enemy they will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144.000.

The Divinely Appointed Ministry in Waco, Texas,

Again Fell in the Unpardonable Sin

As soon as after the death of Brother Houteff in 1955 there came a very drastic change. The progress, that has been made so impressively during his life time, was suddenly come to an end. And this seemed to be just fulfilling his own earlier warning given us by the servant of the Lord in his book “The White House Recruiter,” page 33. You know what had happened after that ?

Point (1):

Not too long after Brother Victor T. Houteff died in 1955, Mrs. Houteff has emerged to succeed him, with a prophecy of her own invention. She then proclaimed to the people that the kingdom of the 144.000 would soon be established in 1959. When her prediction failed to materialize, she then, as the highest official of the General Association of Davidian SDA, proclaimed to the public that all the teachings of the Shepherd’s Rod message are not sound. She then liquidated the Organization soon after that, and sold all of its assets and premises. And the General Association of Davidian SDA as the newly appointed ministry of God was then formally dissolved in 1962. Such is the story of how the Devil has successfully sent his knockout blow upon the newly born five wise virgins, to cause them fallen unconsciously up to 1991, when the original premises were retrieved, and the General Association of Davidian SDA was again restored on its original location in Waco, Texas, USA up to this day.

Point (2):

Ever since 1991 the Davidian Seventh-Day Adventists who have ever been scattered to several places in the USA and Canada returned to join in with the leadership in Waco, Texas. And here again, however, as ever warned by Brother Houteff. Satan would have inspired some professed friends of the Gospel of the leadership in Waco, Texas, to follow a very narrow minded fundamentalism, which at the outset seemed very good, solemn, pure, and sanctifying, because it very strictly restricts the evangelists, pastors, and teachers from digging too deep into the Bible and the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, to come out with too many private interpretations against the purity of the message. The ministry has been very strictly warned against writing any article without first obtaining a green light from the so-called the Biblical Research Committee, whose membership is the narrow-minded fundamentalists themselves. The consequences are very serious, because a great deal of doctrinal problems that have emerged here and there, the newly appointed ministry in Waco, Texas, lack the power to have them settled satisfactory to the people. The present leadership in Waco, Texas, always shuns answering questions from the fields, only because the availability of the message could not freely give them the answers without first making pains to dig deep into the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.

Point (3):

Long before Brother Houteff has warned : “We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from p r o f e s s e d f r i e n d s of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day.”

We must be alert, too, not only against Mrs. Houteff personally and her falsehood, but also against many more unsuspected foes, from professed friends of the gospel, who are now leading at the Headquarters of the Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas. USA. We must not be impressed by their painstaking efforts and sacrifices to get the message of salvation reached every one of us in the churches, because Houteff as the mouthpiece of the Lord has ever warned, that they are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day. They have followed the very narrow-minded fundamentalism of the priests in the past against Jesus and His disciples. So the type of what the narrow-minded fundamental priests did act against Christ in the past, the same narrow-minded professed friend of the gospel in this antitypical time of the end would also act against His Present Truth of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.

Point (4):

The fruits of the narrow-minded fundamentalism embraced by the present leadership in Waco, Texas would be clearly seen in the fact, that the leadership is truly lacking the power of the Holy Spirit. This is to be seen in their lacking the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. They even lack the ability to show us the spiritual identity of the wise virgins, who have guiles in their mouth (Revelation 14 : 4, 5). And they also lack the ability to show who are worthy to be deemed implicated in the sins of Revelation 22 : 18, 19, and who are those to be categorized as “c h a f f.”

Since those “c h a f f “ and the “wise virgins who have guiles in the mouth“ are to be found only in the midst of the Davidian Seventh-Day Adventists, how foolish they are if they could have talked so high as to make up the 144.000 and so on, whereas still lacking the ability to identify those evil elements in the midst of the Davidians themselves. Let us be alert too, dear Readers, because it might be possible that the unsuspected foes, the professed friends of the gospel, who are now leading at the re-organized body, the General Association of Davidian SDA in Texas, are themselves the c h a f f, or the wise virgins who have guiles in their mouth. Even they might be just the sinners who through their embracing of the narrow-minded fundamentalism of the priests in the time of Jesus, they would have been implicated in the sin of adding or subtracting something from the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY itself.

Nearly a century have past since Bro. Houteff and his associates have successfully re-organized the body of the General Conference of SDA in 1935 into the General Association of Davidian Seventh-Day Adventist. In the process of re-organizing according to the Constitution, there is to have a vacancy of Presidency to be filled. The vacancy for the first time was filled by Houteff, not because he is a prophet, but because the Presidential job must be filled at the top management. With the passing away of Bro. Houteff in 1955, the Presidency was already vacant for more than half a century up to this very moment, only for the reason because the Lord has not as yet chosen a new prophet to fill the vacancy. Is this not a breaching of the Constitution that should be implemented that the Presidency of the top management must be filled? Since Houteff has become the last prophet in this time of the end, after serving his job in the Presidency for only 20 years, is it logical for us to take for granted that General Association of DSDA as an International Headquarters of God’s people on earth for nearly a century being without a President ? How many more centuries ahead the Headquarters of God’s people on earth should be without a President? No wonder if Houteff should have said that:

It is, moreover, but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144.000 first fruit servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits (Revelation 7 : 9).”

Because how is it possible for the Lord God to have his 144.000 servants of the first fruits disclosed to view, to be edified with only incomplete “butter and honey”? Let it all be understood now, that as the result of the narrow-minded fundamentalism, which is so keenly embraced by those leading at the Headquarters of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA, up to now, there have emerged very sharp splits of opinion among the Davidian SDA’s themselves in the world even up to this day. The Law and the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY that should have united the followers of Houteff ever to become of the same mind, seeing eye to eye, and speaking the same things, the fact is just to be the opposite. This is just the spiritual condition of the five wise virgins or the wheat in this critical hours of the end, as long as the “c h a f f“ categorized elements are still dominating the Headquarters of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA.

Dear Readers! Since we could only be saved by obeying the Law and the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY in their completeness, then those who dare to add or to subtract something from the words, due to their narrow-minded fundamentalism to maintain the purity of the message, they are just themselves that should be left behind. The servant of the Lord, Brother Victor T. Houteff, up to the time he died in 1955, has acknowledged only the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, to be the only divinely appointed ministry for the world in this time of the end. That is the reason why his warning in “The White House Recruiter, p. 33” would apply only to the present leadership in Waco, Texas, USA. The narrow-minded fundamentalists must first be found there, or else the fulfillment of the warning could not be recognized by all present truth believers of God in the fields.

Guile in the Mouth to identify the fall

of the present Divinely appointed Ministry in Waco, Texas

Due to their permanently rejection of the Shepherd’s Rod message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1, that the General Conference of SDA or the angel of the Laodicean church should have been spewed out of Jesus’ mouth, and then be categorized into the five foolish virgins or the tares. The angel Gabriel through the book of Daniel 12 : 10 has even categorized them into “the wicked.” Therefore the four angels’ messages that are now united in THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to enlighten the earth, would have been no more beneficial for them. However, In regard to those categorized wise virgins, John the Revelator gives the following specifications :

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. …………………………………………………………………………………….

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. ……… And in their mouth was found no guile : for they are without fault before the throne of God.” – Revelation 14 : 1, 4, 5.

The 144.000 will be selected from among those categorized wise virgins, specifically from among those who have no guile in their mouths. Due to the fact that some of those categorized wise virgins are yet to fall again into sin of having guile in their mouth, we are inevitably be forced to know for sure what kind of sin is the guile in the mouth. Since this is the kind of sin to be found only in the midst of the wise virgins, in the midst of the Davidian Seventh-day Adventists, who are now proclaiming all the books of the Bible that meet and end in the Revelation (The Acts of the Apostles, p. 585), then the only sin committed by them would be those stipulated in the Revelation 22 : 18, 19 :

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, ‘if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book : And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”— Revelation 22 : 18, 19.

It is clear now that the sin of having guile in the mouth is the kind of sin against the Holy Spirit, which is against the Spirit of Truth that guides us unto all Truth and the Things to come. (John 16 : 13). This is the unpardonable sin, which has implicated the priests and their followers in the time of Jesus that ends with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the Calvary.

To you and me the servant of the Lord, Brother Houteff, has warned : “We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day.”— White House Recruiter, p. 33.

We must be alert too to realize that the present leadership in Waco, Texas, whose piety is no less than were the priests in Christ’s day, are actually the ones who are now implicated in the sin of having guile in their mouth, for adding to and substracting from the message as foretold in the Revelation 22 : 18, 19.

Since not all the wise virgins of Davidian SDA would have been implicated in the sin of having guile in their mouths, then there is to occur in their midst the splits of opinion, that will again separate them into two categories : the pure wheat on the one side and the chaff on the other side. To this end the servant of the Lord said :

“God will arouse His people; if other means fail, heresies will come in among them, which will s i f t them, separating the c h a f f (not tares) from the w h e a t. The Lord calls upon all who believe His word to awake out of sleep. Precious light has come, appropriate for this time. It is Bible truth, showing the perils that are right upon us. This light should lead us to a diligent study of the Scriptures and a most critical examination of the positions which we hold.” – 5 Testimonies for the Church, pp. 707 – 708. (In brackets added)

Either the chaff or the wheat, both are the categorized wise virgins of Davidian Seventh-day Adventist. Therefore the precious light appropriate for both of them for this time, is none other than THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY only, which is the combination of the message of the third angel and the message of the fourth one.

Guile in the mouth is the Acts

of Adding to and Subtracting from the Message

Soon after the death of the servant of the Lord in 1955, the acts of transgression against the message by adding and subtracting mentioned above are more strikingly promoted by the leaders in our midst.

1. Mrs. Houteff foretold the establishment of the Kingdom in Palestine in 1959. Whereas such a prediction was never before known in the teaching of her husband, Brother Houteff.

2. The emergence of several new Mount Carmel Centers such as in Salem, South Caroline, and in Mountain Dale, New York, and in Elk, Texas, and in some other places. Whereas Brother Houteff as the inspired messenger of God up to the time he died, he acknowledged only one Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas.

3. Quietly but sure they amended the Constitution and the By-Laws of the Davidian SDA by letting the presidential job vacant up to this day. They say the presidential job could be filled only by a prophet, whereas no rule as such given us by the Lord through His servant.

4. Quietly but sure they have embraced a very narrow-minded fundamentalism of the priests and the Pharisees in the time of Jesus, whereas ideas of such extremism are frankly spoken against by Houteff. Read: The White House Recruiter, p. 33.

5. Too much prioritize Houteff and his Shepherd’s Rod message to be taught to the people than the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy of Mrs. White, whereas Bro. Houteff himself has warned : “The Bible and the books of the Spirit of Prophecy being the sole source of the Shepherd’s Rod message, therefore when the Rod is taught, the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy are taught.”–Fundamental Beliefs, p.26.

6. They show themselves much to rely on the Holy Spirit leading, but in practical doing they tend more to obey the result of the majority vote of the leadership than to obey the instructions given in the Spirit of Prophecy. And after concluding in a special prayer, then everything seemed for them to be valid and acceptable in the sight of God.

The result is clear, that there are still many more problems unresolved up to this very day, among others such as presented here below :

Who are those unsuspected foes — the professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than the priests of Christ’s day ?
Several portions of the prophecies of Ezekiel 38 and 39, wherein Houteff himself has testified to be the very simple and clear to be understood. But why are they still concealed by the leaders up to this day ? Is this also to mean that the Spirit that led Houteff in the past has now disappeared from our leaders ?
Why are we discouraged from teaching prophecies using charts of our own made ? Ellen G. White said : “By the use of CHARTS, SYMBOLS and REPRESENTATIONS of various kinds, the minister can make the truth stand out clearly and distinctly. This is a help, and in harmony with the word of God.” — Gospel Workers, p. 355.

All these problems have been left unresolved up to this day, only because they are not provided written in the Rod message. Whereas if the leaders would take a little pain to dig more deeper into the message, all the problems would have been settled ever since long ago. Here again is testified that actually the Holy Spirit of the Lord has already left them, because they have been implicated in the sin against It. To this end the servant of the Lord said :

“I g n o r a n c e is no excuse now for the transgression of law. The light shines clearly, and none need be ignorant, for the Great God Himself is man’s instructer.”– Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 162.

When and why is God

to take the Reins in His own Hands ?

Ellen G. White :

“Let me tell you that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message (of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY) to be given to the world. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300. (In the brackets is added)

In the common order of things the Lord has entrusted the care of His people in the time of the end to His own appointed ministry. First to His own servant Mrs. Ellen G. White and the evangelists, pastors and teachers of the General Conference of SDA. He has commissioned them in the following words :

After the death of Mrs. White in 1915, the General Conference and its entire ministry again fell to such extent, that they should have been spewed out of Jesus’mouth in 1935. This means, they have failed to carry out the work as entrusted to them by the Lord.

The same commission then extended to Brother Houteff and his appointed ministry in 1935, to lead the flock right from the Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, USA. And though he and his divinely appointed ministry have done their best up to the time he died in 1955, prior to his death he has left behind the following warning :

With the warning now being fulfilled in our midst, then the whole statement in the Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300 should have also to be realized. That means, that the Lord would no more now work through His ever appointed agencies in Waco, Texas, because He is against those leaders among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. The Lord will use His own appointed agencies who are yet scattered in the fields to feed His flock, because He has promised :

“We have been inclined to think that where there are no faithful ministers there can be no true Christians, but this is not the case. God has promised that where the shepherds are not true He will take charge of the flock Himself. God has never made the flock wholly dependent upon human instrumentalities. But the days of purification of the church are hastening on apace. God will have a people pure and true. In the mighty sifting soon to take place we shall be better able to measure the strength of Israel.” – Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 80.

“Even if all our leading men should refuse light and truth, that door will still remain open. The Lord will raise up men (scattered in the fields) who will give the people the message for this time.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 107. (In brackets is added).

A New Culture of Laymen Activities

Since the Lord will no more have His flock entrusted to the leading of the two aforementioned ministries after the death of their prophets, then He will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. When the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message (of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY). God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. Even the workers themselves will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness. What is meant by all these ?

When the work goes forward under the direction in THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, then the Lord would have sent more and more people into His work of righteousness, who are to be wholly independent of those leading, either at the Headquarters in Waco, Texas, or in any other Headquarters elsewhere in the world. The servant of the Lord said :

“Not upon the ordained minister only rests the responsibility of going forth to fulfill this commission. Everyone who has received Christ is called to work for the salvation of his fellow men. “The Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hear say, Come.” Revelation 22 : 17.

“The humble, consecrated believer upon whom the Master of the vineyard places a burden for souls is to be given encouragement by the men upon whom the Lord has laid larger responsibilities. Those who stand as leaders in the church of God are to realize that the Saviour’s commission is given to all who believe in His name. God will send forth into His vineyard many who have not been dedicated to the ministry by the laying on of hands.”— The Acts of the Apostles, p. 110.

Under the direction of the four angels’ messages in THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY the laymen are to receive orders right from the Lord through His Spirit of Truth. With the Holy Spirit in their minds, the angel who joins the third angel in the message (of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY) to enlighten the earth, would have first to get the laymen themselves fully enlightened. And then with one mind, having seen eye to eye, and speaking the same things, they would have more power to help the Lord to hasten the disclosure to view His now obscure 144.000 first fruit servants. And then will be first fulfilled the popular parabolic words of Jesus : “For many be called, but few chosen.”– Matthew 20 : 16.

Since the first to be fulfilled is “for many be called, then later few (only 144.000) chosen, whereas the parabolic words of Jesus have nowhere yet been fulfilled up to this very moment, it is therefore no wonder if the following statement by Mrs. White should be first anticipated when she said : “More than one thousand will soon be converted in one day, most of whom will trace their first convictions to the reading of our publications.” – Review and Herald, November 10, 1885.

As soon as more than one thousand converts emerge in a day, then the statement by the servant of the Lord will be fulfilled : The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300.

The workers are those who have been ordained by the laying on of hands by the leaderships, either in Waco, Texas, or in Mountain Dale, New York, or in Elk, Texas, or in Salem, South Caroline, or even elsewhere. They will be very surprised by the simple means God will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness. Because they would have realized that it will not be the result of their painstaking effort to get those converted souls into the Truth.

The failures of the workers of the Waco, Texas, Headquarters to increase the number of their membership up to now seem to be no more concealed from the public. This is the reason why Pastor Norman Archer, Vice President of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas has to admit in writing the following statement :

“Accordingly, the antitypical Pre-Pentecostal harvest takes place in a self-deceived church, the Laodicean, ”the house of God”; and through miracle-working power manifested by Heaven itself in the angels (Matt. 13 : 39), it yields the 144.000, the first fruits of those who are never to die. Whereas the antitypical post-Pentecostal harvest takes place among the nations; and through miracle-working power manifested by the Spirit-filled 144.000, it yields the great multitude which no man can number (Rev. 7 : 9), the second fruits, of those who are never to die.” 2 TG #46 : 28.

“Here you note that when the time came there was not even one among His servants “to uphold” the work of the harvest, and consequently the Lord Himself did the work without them.” 2 TG #44 : 38.

From the above references we can see that the work of gathering the 144.000 is the work of the Lord Himself. We need not blame one another for the apparently slow progress of the work.” — The Symbolic Code Session Edition 2006 Vol. 15, No. 5 – 7, p. 3.

You see, dear Reader, instead of being convinced of their own sins of embracing the narrow-minded fundamentalism of the priests and the Pharisees in the time of Jesus, to be the main cause of their failure “to uphold “the work of the harvest, that consequently the Lord Himself has to do the work without them, he even told us that the work of gathering the 144.000 is the work of the Lord Himself. And we need not blame one another for the apparently slow progress of the work now. What an awkward!

Cursed be the Man that Trusteth in Man

(Jeremiah 17 : 5)

N o w the Lord is working in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning as usually arranged at the Headquarters in America. And since the Lord is no more working through His own ever appointed agencies in Waco, Texas, no more progress could be anticipated there to meet the fulfillment of the popular parabolic words : “….. Many be called, but few chosen.” Matthew 20 : 16.

Now the word of prophet Jeremiah is to be enforced upon us to obey. In confirming the instruction upon us, Mrs. White said :

“We must study the truth for ourselves. No man should be relied upon to think for us. No matter who he is, or in what position he may be placed, we are not to look upon any man as a criterion for us. We are to counsel together and to be subject one to another; but at the same time we are to exercise the ability God has given us, in order to learn what truth is.. . . . . . . . . . .

We are warned not to trust in man, nor to make flesh our arm. A curse is pronounced upon all who do this.” – Testimonies to Ministers, pp. 109, 110, 367.

“God cannot glorify His name through His people while they are leaning upon man and making flesh their arm.” – 5 Testimonies, p. 729.

Leaning upon men and making flesh their arm are the acts likewise to idolize the leading men, either in the General Conference of SDA or in the re-organized General Conference, which is the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA. Since they have been implicated in the sin similar to that of the priests in the time of Jesus, then in interpreting the prophetic words of Isaiah, that have predicted the fate and destiny of the present truth believers in the time of the end let me again quote for you from Brother Houteff’s sermon in the Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 5, beginning from page 14 as follows :

Isaiah 2 : 11 — “The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”

“Man has long been exalting himself; so much so, in fact, that there are perhaps only a few Christians in the world that are really following “the light of the Lord.” Most of them are following sparks of men, following uninspired interpretations of the Scriptures, — devising of men, men who scoff at the idea of Inspiration; they see no need of more Truth or of prophets, although they well know that the only Truth that has ever come has been through chosen servants of God. Even present Truth believers have not as yet fully awakened to this startling revelation, many of them are carried away with every wind of doctrine, much of which is created by impostors such as Korah, Dathan and Abiram (Number 16 : 9 – 11) coveting Moses’ office — usurpers of Inspiration’s Throne — taking sides, one for Paul and another for Apollos, as it were ! Inspiration’s eye focusing to this day and message, reveals that much of this self deception is the result of what the Spirit describes, a double face hypocrisy, saying : “Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as My people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them : for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument : for they hear thy words, but they do them not. And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come) then shall they know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 33 : 30 – 33. We need to be doers of the Word not merely hearers.”

Isaiah 2 : 12, 13, 15, 16 — “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low : and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,……..and upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, and upon all the ships of Tar shish, and upon all pleasant pictures.”

“These are of course figurative expressions, referring to proud and self- sufficient men who in the people’s eyes are as the cedars of Lebanon, and as the oaks of Bashan.

Isaiah 2 : 17 – 20 — “And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low : and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols He shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for him to worship, to the moles and to the bats.”

“What idols are to be abolished ? — Idols that walk. They are, therefore, men whom the people idolize. They and those who idolize them will run into “the holes of the rocks, and unto the caves of the earth.” Only those that cast out the idols shall be spared. In these verses three kinds of idols are mentioned : (1) works of men’s hands, (2) men that are revered, (3) gold and the silver that are worshiped. These shall be abolished, there are to be idols no more …” — Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 5, pp. 14 – 15.”

The three idols mentioned above are :

1. The idols of the works of men’s hands.

2. The call for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation to liberate the people, either the Seventh-day Adventists from their General Conference leadership, or the present truth believers from their high-minded leaders of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, or elsewhere in the USA, is apparently not as easy as one might think. Let alone when the Lord works in this last work using very simple means, which is very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. Maybe we will no more get enough facilities to worship in good buildings as ever before. Or maybe we will be forced to be divided into only small groups of people scattered in several places.

So the works of men’s hands that are idolized would be the organization, the facilities of buildings to worship in, the great name of the United States of America as the location of the Headquarters, the number of membership, having the high learning institute of education, big hospitals etc.

3. Men that are revered are the idols that walk. They are the leaders either at the General Conference of SDA or at the General Association of Davidian SDA, who have been entrusted by the people to think for them.

4. Gold and silver that are worshiped represent the material things and the passionate desire of the heart which have arrested our attention and time from fulfilling our duty to the Lord and His Truth.

But the main factors that are first to be abolished as emphasized by Brother Houteff above are the men whom the people idolize to think for them, even the impostors, who are the antitypical Korah, Dathan and Abiram of today and all those who idolize them.

Concluded

“God will arouse His people; if other means fail, heresies will come in among them, which will s i f t them, separating the c h a f f (not tares) from the w h e a t. The Lord calls upon all who believe His word to awake out of sleep. Precious light has come, appropriate for this time. It is Bible truth, showing the perils that are right upon us. This light should lead us to a diligent study of the Scriptures and a most critical examination of the positions which we hold.” – 5 Testimonies for the Church, pp. 707 – 708. (In brackets added)

Precious light has come, which is the light of the angel that joined the third angel in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to enlighten the earth. Under the light of the message which is now enlightening you and me, this special article has been formulated specifically for the present truth believers in this critical time of the end. Let us have a diligent study of the Scriptures and a most critical examination of the positions which we should hold, not as a chaff categorized. Davidian SDA, but as a true purely wheat categorized Davidian SDA.

The Lord will work in this last work, in the sealing time of the 144.000, in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. This is to mean, that the Lord will commission His own appointed agencies, no more directly from His Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, nor from any such center elsewhere in the United States of America, but through His own Holy Spirit in the midst of His people, who have a diligent study of the Scriptures and a most critical examination of the positions which they hold.

God’s people now will no more be found united under a very big and honorable Headquarters as ever before. The Lord is now working in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning as usually arranged at the Headquarters in America. There will emerge in many countries of the world several associations of God’s people, either by the name Davidian SDA or by any other name of their own choice. And since the Lord will take the rein in His own hand to lead us, the progress of their activities would be mainly identified by their seeing eye to eye, that they could be of the same mind, to speak the same things, and with one mouth to glorify the Lord. This is to prove the difference of their leadership, which is now through the Holy Spirit right under the rein of the Lord Himself. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. And He has promised :

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not returneth unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the things whereto I sent it.”

– Isaiah 55 : 8 – 11.
