Prophet Jeremiah’s statement above is a part of the prophet’s prophetic messages addressed to God’s people who are now living in this time of the end. This means, that the statement would also be one of the Rules of implementation of the Law of The Ten Commandments that must be obeyed by all Christians of this time. Those who knowingly fail  to observe this instruction of the Lord will surely be accursed. And since the curse was come out of the Lord Himself (not from the prophet Malachi), then the accursed one would have also been implicated in the sin against the Holy Spirit, which is no more to be forgiven him either here now nor in the time to come. Thus for the surety reason I will again quote the whole verse of the statement as follows,   

 

“Thus saith the Lord; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.” – Jeremiah 17 : 5.          

 

Those in whom the people of God fully trust and upon whom most people lay their hope of salvation into the Kingdom of God in this time of the end, will be none other than the leaders of the Church of God in the world today. The last and the only Church of God in the world today will be none other than the Laodicean Church, which is The Church of Seventh-day Adventist. The leadership of this Church in the prophecy of Revelation is called “the angel of the Laodicean Church.” 

 

The history of the New Testament period has been divided by John the Revelator into seven periods of Church. From the first period of Church, which is called the Church of Ephesus, this Church was first established by the apostle Paul. And the last period of Church, which is the last and the seventh one, is the Laodicean Church, established by the servant of the Lord, Mrs. Ellen G. White. This is fully recognized by the leadership of Seventh-day Adventist Church in the USA, and the facts could be traced back through the books of World History and the Encyclopedias, even through Seventh-day Adventist own history books. 

 

The servant of the Lord, Mrs. Ellen G. White,  is also known as one of the founders of the General Conference of SDA, which was first established in 1863, and even her husband had ever been chosen twice to be its President. Mrs. White ever said : 

 

“It is nearly forty years since organization was introduced among us as a people. I was one of the number who had an experience in establishing it from the first.” — Testimonies to Ministers, p. 24.

 

The organization mentioned above is the General Conference of SDA which was first established in the United States of America in 1863. Therefore, when the Laodicean Church of Seventh-day Adventist was first established in 1844, when the third angel’s message of Revelation 14 was first proclaimed, then after nineteen years later was the organization of the leadership of the Church established.  

To the angel of the church of the Laodiceans John the Revelator writes …… !

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia. Unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.“ – Revelation 1 : 10 – 11.   

  

The number “seven” means completeness. From the fact that the book of Revelation as a complement to the book of Daniel was just interpreted in the time of the end by the servants of the Lord, Mrs. Ellen G. White and Bro. Victor T. Houteff, in THE SPIIRIT OF PROPHECY, then the whole prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation should have been addressed only to the people of God in the time of the end, that is to the Church as well as to the angel of the Church of the Laodiceans. This is the so-called “the seven Churches in Asia”, that is the Church that has ever been traveling along the whole period of the New Testament history. Jesus has ordered John the Revelator to write to the angel of the Laodiceans as follows : 

 

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot : I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.   

 

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked :  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eye salve, that thou may see.

 

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten : be zealous therefore, and repent.” – Revelation 3 : 14 – 19.

 

This is the spiritual condition of the angel of the Church of the Laodiceans that represents the General Conference of SDA and all its ministers in this time of the end. These are they who have ever been since the beginning established by the servant of the Lord Mrs. E. G. White and her associates to be fully entrusted by the people of God in this time of the end. But why were they so deep fallen spiritually ? You are kindly requested to read for yourselves the following articles of mine (1) SPIRITUAL CONDITION OF THE ANGEL OF THE CHURCH OF LAODICEA AFTER 1888, AND (2) THE CALL FOR A SPIRITUAL REVIVAL AND A SPIRITUAL REFORMATION (Review and Herald, February 25, 1902).

 

General Conference of SDA and its ministers have been spewed out of Jesus Mouth in 1935 

 

Due to the fact that up to the time she died in 1915, the Call for A Spiritual Revival and A Spiritual Reformation as those proclaimed through the Review and Herald in 1902 was not as yet carried out by Mrs. Ellen G. White, then they must inevitably be carried out later by Brother Victor T. Houteff and his message of the Shepherd’s Rod. What is meant by spiritual revival and spiritual reformation as those presented us by Mrs. White could be seen as here below :     

 

Definitely, the call for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation would have been unavoidable facts that should be carried out first among us ahead of the purification of the Church, to enable us to see the Lord in  the future. The whole Church are indeed in need of a change, because the servant of the Lord has ever warned :  

 

“The Lord does not now work to bring many souls into the truth, because of the church members who have never been converted and those who were once converted but who have backslidden. What influence would these unconsecrated members have on new converts ? Would they not make of no effect the God-given message which His people are to bear.” — 6 Testimonies, p. 371.

 

“There are many who do not realize where they are standing ; for they are spiritually blinded. ……………………………………………….

There are many who are content with a superficial knowledge of the truth. …………..

 

“There are many ministers who have never been converted. They come to the prayer-meeting and pray the same old, lifeless prayers over and over; they preach the same dry discourses over and over, from week to week, and from month to month. They have nothing new and inspiring to present to their congregations, and it is evident that they are not eating the flesh and drinking the blood of the Son of man, for they have no life in them. They are not partakers of the divine nature ; Christ is not abiding in their hearts by faith.” —— Review and Herald, vol. 2, p. 337.

   

The result of the rejection against the message of “Justification by faith” by the Organization in 1888, the whole congregations of the people of God were fallen in the so-called “spiritual lukewarmness.” It is the lukewarmness that has seriously weakened our capacity to think and to feel, and even to cause us to die spiritually. These are the things that are most needed to be revived and reformed through a message. And that is the message of the Shepherd’s Rod by Bro. Victor T. Houteff.

 

Spiritual revival and spiritual reformation by the message of Rev. 18 : 1 or the Shepherd’s Rod, coupled with The Third’s angel message of Rev.14, into the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to enlighten the earth, would have first to accomplish their work among us in the Church. 

 

Combination of the two messages into The SPIRIT OF PROPHEY has first successfully revived our people ever since the outset of the message in 1929. And then with the establishment of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA in 1935 as a re-organized body of the General Conference of SDA, all  these facts are now to prove the fulfillment of the objective of the message.    

And since it would be impossible for the Lord to be represented by two organizations that opposes each other to lead His people in this time of the end, let us be sure that the Lord should have embraced the one and to cast away the other. Now we could have been assured that the angel of the Church of the Laodiceans has been spewed out of Jesus’ mouth in 1935.

“Cursed be the Man that Trusteth in Man …..”

   — Jeremiah 17 : 5 —

Since the prophetic statements of prophet Jeremiah mentioned above would have been fulfilled in the time of the end, then it should be fulfilled in force after 1935, when the angel of the Church of Laodicea was spewed out of Jesus’ mouth. This is to mean that everyone and even anyone who is yet to ignore the call for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation to return to the observance of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY ever since 1935, all they would have been accursed of the Lord. And they would have been implicated in the unforgivable sin which is the sin against the Holy Spirit.  They will be left alone by the Spirit, that their way back to the all truth and the things to come will be more and more difficult than ever before.     

 

Today, although, the spewed out angel of Laodicea and his accursed  followers in the whole world are yet standing regally as ever before, they are actually no more to be regarded as God’s own property. As well as the other Churches outside, who were ever left in partial truth. are still standing regally up to this time, then no wonder if the angel of Laodicea and all his accursed followers would have also to stay up to the fulfillment of the prophecy of Ezekiel 9. They are all now demonstrating their identities, as those prophesied by the prophet  Isaiah in the following words :

 

“And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel : only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.” – Isaiah 4 : 1.

 

As with the prophecy of Jeremiah to deal mainly with the Church in this time of the end, the above statement of prophet Isaiah would have the similar objective to meet its fulfillment in this time of the end. And that is the reason why ever since 1935 all Churches (including the angel of Laodicea and his followers) will be holding the hand of Christ only for to be called by His name, “Christian”, though each of them will have her religious doctrinal points of view of her own creation. 

Laodicean Church would have been first

  revived and reformed at the Mount Carmel Center

 in Waco, Texas, USA

As “ Laodicea” comes from the Greek words, “Lao” and “dekei”, which means “people” and “judgment”, then the Laodicean Church, must signify the Church of the people that proclaims the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14.  And since the Laodicean Church is the last or the remnant of all seven prophetic Churches of the New Testament, then the spiritual identity of the people of this particular Church could be found through the following statements by John the Revelator:   

 

 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” – Revelation 12 : 17. “Worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.” – Revelation 19 : 10. (margin).

 

As the Laodiceans emerge out of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, then the Laodiceans (Church), who survived after the spiritual death of their angel of Laodicea, were then granted a new name of identity, Davidian SDA” by their founder : Bro. Victor T. Houteff.   

 

Bro. Houteff, who came in 1929 with the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1, was to unite his voice with the message of the angel of Revelation 14, to enlighten the earth, up to the close of probation in the heavenly court of justice. He has successfully reorganized the General Conference of SDA into the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA. Let it be understood, therefore, that the General Association of Davidian SDA is actually the re-organized body of the General Conference of SDA, to meet the will of God as those addressed by Mrs. White in Review and Herald, February 25, 1902.   

 

So long under the leadership of Bro. Houteff all members of the Church (the Laodiceans) who were fully trusting in him and making him  their arms, they were all firmly united with the only mount Carmel Center in the world, which is The General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas. The dragon of Revelation 12 : 17 seemed always failed to disturb them.

 

But as soon as the servant of the Lord died in 1955, the division of the Mount Carmel Center seemed to be no more avoidable. If only the elders would have understood why did Houteff begin to sell the excess property and promised to have all the properties sold later to meet the instruction of the Lord in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, they would have fully comprehended their folly for establishing so many Mount Carmel Centers there are today. Through The Symbolic Code of 1954 edition, Bro. Houteff has outlined the program to sell the whole properties of Mount Carmel Center as follows :  

 

Preparing for all-out Effort     

                                                       (Symbolic Code, vol. 10, No. 1)

“The hunting campaign launched last year initiated and heralded a new electrifying and progressive advancement of Present Truth. 

 

“Now again, with even greater emphasis toward reaching her goal, Mount Carmel Center makes the following announcement to all faithful Davidians who will realize that this good news is perhaps nothing short of a sign. Mount Carmel Center, by commencing to first sell its excess property,  then the whole, is symbolically leading the way to the program that is outlined by the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, in the words : 

 

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a treasure hid in a field ; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.” Matthew 13 : 14. The Lord Himself is leading the way. 

 

“……Jesus hath made it possible for you to accept His love, and in happy cooperation with Him to work under its fragrant influence. He requires you to use your possessions in unselfish service, that His plan for the salvation of souls shall be carried forward with power. He expects you to give your undivided energies to His work.”

 

“Would you make your property secure ? Place it in the hand that bears the nail-print of the crucifixion. Retain it in your possession, and it will be to your eternal loss. Give it to God, and from that moment it bears His inscription. It is sealed with His immutability. Would you enjoy your substance ? Then use it for the blessing of the suffering.” – 9 Testimonies, pp. 50, 51. — The Symbolic Code, Vol. 10, No. 1 p. 4.

 

Thus, although just only a few years beforehand in 1935 through The Symbolic Code, Vol. 1, No. 16, p. 1 Bro. Houteff said : 

 

“We are happy to announce that the headquarters office of the sealing message moved from Waco to Mt. Carmel Center on September 29 to its new and permanent home location for the proclamation of the message of the “True Witness to the Laodiceans.” Testimonies for the Church, vol. 3, p. 253. Therefore, we request all the brethren in Present Truth to approach the throne of grace with thanksgiving and praises to our Heavenly Father for His merciful kindness and many blessings. ………………..

 

“The buildings that were under construction being finished and ready for occupancy have brought a great relief to all of us, and by the 16th of this month, though very congested, Mount Carmel’s subjects who immigrated from other states will be living on  this  h o l y  m o u n t.” — The Symbolic Code, vol. 1, No. 16, p. 1.

 

Only a few years later in 1954, however, the fact is that the Mount Carmel Center would have to terminate its work, because it has already began to sell its excess property that is to be followed by the selling out of all the properties of the Organization. This is according to the will of the Lord Himself, thus said Bro. Victor T. Houteff.  

After the death of Bro. Houteff in 1955

After the death of Bro. Victor T. Houteff in 1955, the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas could have survived only up to 1962. The Mount Carmel Center of the Lord was later liquidated and sold out in 1962.

As soon as after the death of the lowly servant of the Lord in 1955, there were emerged in   America several new Mount Carmel Centers as follows :

 

(1) General Association of Davidian SDA in Salem, South Carolina, USA

(2) Branch Davidian SDA in Elk, Texas, USA

(3) General Association of Davidian SDA in Mountain dale, New York, USA

(4) and others.  

 

 

Most of Present Truth believers were first of the thought that due to the falsehood taught by Mrs. Houteff, of the Kingdom that was to be established in Palestine in 1959, and due to her own proclamation to the public that the Shepherd’s Rod message was no more sound, after failed to see her time-setting come true, all those that led to the dissolution of the Mount Carmel Center of the Lord in 1962. Even up to now there are yet many of us still thinking that it is not the will of the Lord that His Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, USA should have been stopped its work for good.

 

We mostly forget the fact that it is the Lord’s own program as those proclaimed through the Symbolic Code, vol. 10, No. 1, that all the properties of His Mount Carmel Center must be sold out, and then dissolved. Therefore the liquidation of Mount Carmel Center in 1962 is indeed according to His own program.

 

The Lord is strong enough to have the Mount Carmel Center maintained and preserved for us up to the time of the prophecy of Ezekiel 9, but He conversely said: “Mount Carmel Center, by commencing to first sell its excess property, then the whole, is symbolically leading the way to the program that is outlined by the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, ………………. “

 

It is clearly now that for the sake of the program that is outlined by the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, that the re-establishment of the Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, in 1991 by those who are now leading there, is indeed against the will of the Lord.

 

Since the Shepherd’s Rod message acknowledges only one Mount Carmel Center on its “permanent home location” in Waco, Texas, USA, then after the liquidation of the Mount Carmel Center in 1962, the Lord would have turned His hands upon only the little ones. (Zechariah 13 : 7) Since the Lord will no more work through the General Conference of SDA, nor through His own Mount Carmel Center in Texas, as “the greater ones”,  then now those “little ones” would have been identified as “the Associations of Davidian SDA” now scattered in many places of the world. The Lord would have taken the rein in His own hands to lead them the little ones. This is the reason why His Mount Carmel Center in Texas must be dissolved. Mrs. White said further :

 

“Let me tell you that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message (of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY) to be given to the world. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300. (In the brackets is added)

 

After the death of the servant of the Lord in 1955, and after all the properties of Mount Carmel Center be sold out and the Mount Carmel Center liquidated in 1962, then the Lord would have taken the rein in His own hands. What does it mean ? That is, the Lord would have taken the rein in His own hands to lead by Himself all the associations of Davidian SDA now scattered in the entire world. Then the Laodiceans in the churches of SDA will no more be allowed to trust in man and to make man their arms. The prophecy of Jeremiah 17 : 5 would then be proclaimed in force to every one of us.   

 

 

 

Fate of the Davidian SDA

 

 after their Mount Carmel Center be liquidated 

 

 

As mentioned above by Mrs. White, “there will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made  when the  work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel, ……. .” That is, there are Davidian SDA who are very ambitious to establish more n e w Mount Carmel Centers in America, after the death of Bro. Houteff, wherein still many more Present Truth believers who are yet to be accursed of the Lord for trusting fully in those leading at the Mount Carmel Centers, and” to make flesh their arm.”

 

 

 

“God cannot glorify His name through His people while they are leaning upon man and making flesh their arm.” – 5 Testimonies, p. 729.

 

Trusting in man and making flesh their arm, is similar to idolizing those who are leading, either in General Conference of SDA or in the re-organized General Conference of SDA, which is the General Association of Davidian SDA of the Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, USA. Due to the fact that they have been implicated in the sin of the priests and Pharisees in the time of Jesus, then in interpreting the words of prophet Isaiah whose prophetic words revealed our fate as Present Truth believers, please allow me to quote for you a part of the sermon by Bro. Houteff in His Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 5, beginning from page 14 to 16:

Isaiah 2 : 11 — “The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.”

 

Man has long been exalting himself; so much so, in fact, that there are perhaps only a few Christians in the world that are really following “the light of the Lord.” Most of them are following sparks of men, following uninspired interpretations of the Scriptures, — devising of men, men who scoff at the idea of Inspiration; they see no need of more Truth or of prophets, although they well know that the only Truth that has ever come has been through chosen servants of God. Even present Truth believers have not as yet fully awakened to this startling revelation, many of them are carried away with every wind of doctrine, much of which is created by impostors such as Korah, Dathan and Abiram (Number 16 : 9 – 11) coveting Moses’ office — usurpers of Inspiration’s Throne — taking sides, one for Paul and another for Apollos, as it were! Inspiration’s eye focusing to this day and message, reveals that much of this self deception is the result of what the Spirit describes, a double face hypocrisy, saying : “Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as My people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them : for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument : for they hear thy words, but they do them not. And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come) then shall they know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 33 : 30 – 33. We need to be doers of the Word not merely hearers.

 

Isaiah 2 : 12, 15, 16 — “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low : and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all   the oaks of Bashan ,……..and upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, and upon all the ships of Tar shish, and upon all pleasant pictures.”

 

These are of course figurative expressions, referring to proud and self-sufficient men who in the people’s eyes are as the cedars of Lebanon, and as the oaks of Bashan.

 

Isaiah 2 : 17 – 20 — “And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low : and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols He shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats.”

 

What idols are to be abolished ? — Idols that walk. They are, therefore, men whom the people idolize. They and those who idolize them will run into “the holes of the rocks, and unto the caves of the earth.” Only those that cast out the idols shall be spared. In these verses three kinds of idols are mentioned : (1) works of men’s hands, (2) men that are revered, (3) gold and the silver that are worshiped. These shall be abolished, there are to be idols no more. They and their worshipers are;

 

Isaiah 2 : 21 — “To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.”

 

If we do not now voluntarily cast out all our idols, we shall be forced to cast them later, but what good will it do us then ?

 

Isaiah 3 : 1 — “For, behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.”

 

The time is at hand when the sinners in Jerusalem and in Judah — the General Conference men and the church as whole, will not have a drop to drink or a bite to eat. Who are among them ?“

Read carefully the quoted sermon above and let us pick up some of the points here below to discuss them more carefully :   

 

(1)   “Even present Truth believers have not as yet fully awakened to this startling revelation, many of them are carried away with every wind of doctrine, much of which is created by impostors such as Korah, Dathan and Abiram (Number 16 : 9 – 11) coveting Moses’ office“ —    

 

What is meant by present Truth believers by Houteff are none other than the Davidian SDA ourselves. Since many of them are carried away with every wind of doctrine, such situation could not possibly be there during the life time of Bro. Houteff. Therefore, this must inevitably come to pass after the death of the servant of the Lord in 1955. 

 

(2)   The emergence of several Mount Carmel Centers in America, who also named themselves The General Association of Davidian SDA, they are just the impostors such as Korah, Dathan and Abiram whom the message condemns to be the blowers of every wind of misleading doctrine.   

 

Whereas those present Truth believers who returned to join the Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, after 1991, these were themselves again implicated in the same dangerous sin, which is the narrow minded fundamentalism of the Jewish priests origin in the time of Jesus. The consequence of embracing the narrow and awkward fundamentalism in this modern time of the end, there are several doctrinal points in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY would have been left. And the ministers, barred from making their further personal investigation, have to submit their findings to the so-called Bible Research Committee of the Organization, only for neither being advised to not making any further addition nor subtracting to the message. Do you know that sanction against such practices of falsehood is clearly provided us in the Revelation 22 : 18, 19 ?  

 

 

(3)    Inspiration’s eye focusing to this day and message, reveals that much of this self deception is the result of what the Spirit describes, a double face hypocrisy, saying :  “Also, thou son of man, the children  of thy people still are talking against thee ……………………………………  And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come) then shall they know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 33 : 30 – 33. We need to be doers of the Word not merely hearers.

 

         Through The Mount of Blessing, p. 209, both Mrs. White and Bro. Houteff have identified those double face hypocritical as the leaders of Mount Carmel Center now in Waco, Texas, who are to report to Jesus in that day : “…..Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name ? And in Thy name have cast out devils ? And in Thy name done many wonderful works ? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.”

 

“There are persons who believe that they are right, when they are   wrong. While claiming Christ as their Lord, and professedly doing great works in His name, they are workers of iniquity. ‘With their mouth they show much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. He who declares God’s Word is to them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear Thy words, but they do them not.” — The Mount of Blessing, p. 209.

 

      N o t e  :  Only those embracing the Rod Message could have the capacity to prophesy, which is to teach the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.

 

(4)    They are men whom the people idolize, because they are the idols that walk. They have been also likened to the cedars of Lebanon and to the oak trees of Bashan. Since the Lord recognizes only one Mount Carmel on earth, which was permanently located in Waco, Texas, then this prophecy would have dealt specifically with them in Waco, Texas, even with all of us who are still affiliating with those leading at the Mount Carmel Center. 

 

(5)    He who declares God’s Word is to them only as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument, for they hear Thy words but they do them not. —The Mount of Blessing, p. 209.

 

         Besides those lofty leaders who are to dominate the Mount Carmel Center in Texas up to the time of Ezekiel 9, there are yet another people who are to declare to them the Word of God. They would be none other than the wheat categorized Davidians of God, or the wise virgins without guiles in their mouths.

 

(6)    From the prophetic words of Isaiah as those interpreted for us by the servant of the Lord, we could now be assured that after the death of Bro. Houteff in 1955, the present Truth believers of Davidian SDA in the world would have been divided into only three categories : 

 

a. Those that join the antitypical Korah, Dathan, and Abiram and their Associations in several places in America. 

b. Those chaff categorized Davidians, or the wise virgins with guile in their mounts, who are now dominating the Mount Carmel Center in Texas.

c.  The pure wheat or the wise virgins, who are the true candidates
of the 144.000 elects of God. These are they who are to be purified, and made white, and tried according to the words of angel Gabriel to Daniel the prophet.

 

(7)   Those idols that walk and the man-made idols, who are yet to be idolized by many present Truth believers after the death of Bro. Houteff up to the fulfillment of the prophecy of Ezekiel 9, would inevitably be those of categories (a) and (b). To all of them, even to every one of us, who are now survived, the prophetic words by prophet Jeremiah would be seriously binding. “Cursed be the man, that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.” — Jeremiah 17 : 5. 

 

 

 

In whom should we now

 

 trust and making flesh our arms ? 

 

 

As believers in the time of the end with our faith based upon only the Law and the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, let us always keep in mind the words of John the Revelator, when he said : 

 

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the word of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein : for the time is at hand.” – Revelation 1 : 3. 

 

Though Mrs. White and Bro. Victor T. Houteff as mouthpieces of God have uttered the Lord’s voice through His sure words of prophecies, they are no more alive now. But they have left behind for us the so-called the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, which is the combination of the message of the angels of Revelation 14 by Mrs. White and the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1. By Bro. Houteff. Blessed is every one of us who readeth for himself the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.    

 

And though the divinely appointed prophets are no more alive now in our midst, their work to edify the body of Christ would have to be succeeded by the divinely appointed evangelists, pastors, and teachers. These are they who are to edify us further until all the message of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY could be fully comprehended and obeyed, if only their voices are also to be heard and obeyed. The Word of the Lord is : “BLESSED IS HE WHO READETH, A N D THEY THAT HEAR THE WORD OF THIS PROPHECY.” N O T BLESSED IS HE WHO READETH O R THEY THAT HEAR THE WORD OF THIS PROPHECY ….!   

 

Although the lowly servants of the Lord have accomplished their work to have all the prophecies of the Bible, and the book of Revelation, and even the whole parables of Jesus in the New Testament interpreted, they have died earlier long enough before most of the prophecies meet the details  of their fulfillment in the time of the end. Therefore, the Lord should have taken the rein in His own hands to have His own appointed pastors, and teachers to get all the prophetic words meet their application into details in the history. And this is according to the perception of Bro. Houteff himself when he said :   

 

“……..as teachers of the Shepherd’s Rod (the official publications of the Davidian SDA Association), teach only in the light of the Rod those passages which in one way or another need to be interpreted. Thus only will all Present Truth believers ever become of the same mind, seeing eye to eye and speaking the same things. (1 Cor. 1 : 10; 1 Peter 3 : 8; Isaiah 52 : 8). — Fundamental Beliefs of The Davidian SDAs, p. 27.
