come in the spirit and power of Elijah
Testimonies to Ministers, p. 475

“Behold, I will send you
Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and
dreadful day of the Lord.” — Malachi 4 : 5

One of the Old Testament prophets whose prophetic words mentioned above is Malachi the prophet. His name was ever very popular among God’s people ever since long ago for his book that contained the rules of law obliging people to pay tithes to sustain the procurement of meat into the treasure house of God. That in turn bountiful blessings from the Lord in heaven could be poured upon them, and the material blessings in proportion could also be given them, everyone of them according to their capacity to receive.

In Malachi 3 : 1 the prophet said : “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me : and the Lord, whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in : behold, he shall come, said the Lord of hosts.”

Since the prophecy would have been fulfilled in the time of the end, let us therefore understand that for the sake of our own salvation we have to know those messengers of God and their missions respectively. Let us again read carefully that verse of Malachi 3 : 1 and know that it was the Lord God Himself, who is the Lord of hosts, who spoke : “behold, he shall come.” And those who are to come would be

The messenger of Him, the Lord of hosts, and
The Lord Jesus Himself, the messenger of the covenant whom we seek and delight in.

Messenger of Him, the Lord of hosts.
His name, and his mission

If in Malachi 3 : 1 the prophet said : “BEHOLD, I WILL SEND MY MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME ……,” his name was not as yet mentioned, although his mission was clearly outlined, which was to prepare the way before the coming of the messenger of the covenant to His temple, then in Malachi 4 : 5 it is more clearly declared, because his name and his mission were told us as follows

“BEHOLD, I WILL SEND YOU ELIJAH THE PROPHET BEFORE THE COMING OF THE GREAT AND DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD : AND HE SHALL TURN THE HEART OF THE FATHERS TO THEIR CHILDREN AND THE HEART OF THE CHILDREN TO THEIR FATHERS, LEST I COME TO SMITE THE EARTH WITH A CURSE.” – MALACHI 4 : 5.

The prophecies of Malachi chapter 3 and 4 have revealed that the Lord God would have sent Elijah the prophet to His people of this time of the end. However, since Elijah the prophet has his own permanent home establishment in heaven, it must unavoidably be an antitypical Elijah to come in among us in the Laodicean Church with the same mission to prepare the way before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord., that he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers. To this end Mrs. White said :

“Prophecy must be fulfilled. The Lord says : “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.’ S o m e b o d y is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah, and when he appears, men may say : ‘You are too earnest, you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way. Let me tell you how to teach your message.” — Testimonies to Ministers, p. 475.

Since Mrs. White herself was a divinely appointed prophet of God, then her statement above : “Somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah,” should be understood to be realized in the future after her lifetime. Even his name was not as yet known to her, except for the prophetic name, Elijah the prophet.

Since we are already now in the time of the end, just at the end of the time of the end itself, and since the end time prophets of those prophesied by Amos 3 : 7 have all been known with all their Bible interpretations in the so-called THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, then the name of the antitypical Elijah should be identified from among the following names of the prophets of the time of the end : William Miller, Ellen G. White, and Victor T. Houteff.

Historical facts have shown us that up to the time she died in 1915 Mrs. White had never before known Bro. Victor T. Houteff, the antitypical Elijah and his message. Even the message of the Shepherd’s Rod as the spirit and power of the antitypical Elijah was not as yet known to her. However, she fully believed that for enlightening the whole earth there is yet another message needed to unite with her message of the third angel of Revelation 14. And that is the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1. This is why she said :

“Then I saw another mighty angel commissioned to descend to the earth, to unite his voice with the third angel, and give power and force to his message. Great power and glory were imparted to the angel, and as he descended, the earth was lightened with his glory………………… This message seemed to be an addition to the third message, joining it as the midnight cry joined the second angel’s message in 1844.” — Early Writings, p. 277.

Due to the fact that there is yet one more message needed to enlighten the whole earth, then was the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 by Bro. Victor T. Houteff to come to unite with the third angel of Revelation 14 by Mrs. White, into the so-called The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10. Thus it is, that The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10 is the only means of the Church to enlighten the whole earth up to the end of probationary time in the heavenly court of justice in the heavenly sanctuary. Now, it is no more deniable, that it is Bro. Victor T. Houteff with his Shepherd’ Rod message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 predicted by Mrs. White above : “S o m e b o d y i s t o c o m e i n t h e s p i r i t a n d p o w e r o f E l i j a h.”

But why was he condemned with the words : ‘You are too earnest, you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way. Let me tell you how to teach your message.” — Testimonies to Ministers, p. 475. ???

From the fact that even up to now the servant of the Lord and his message of the Shepherd’s Rod of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 are still opposed in all the churches of Seventh day Adventists ever since the Minneapolis Conference of 1888. We may be sure, therefore, that even up to this very day the message of Revelation 18 : 1 is not as yet received nor ever known in all SDA churches in the world. And the consequence is that The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY mentioned in Revelation 19 : 10, as the combination of the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 and the message of the third angel of Revelation 14 could never be possessed by the General Conference of SDA and its ministers of the gospel even up to this very moment. What a funny ?

N o t e ! The doctrine of Justification by faith by Elders Jones and Waggoner was just the beginning of the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 and the message itself derived from the third angel message of Revelation 14. Thus said Mrs. White.

H i s m i s s i o n

Let us again read carefully those two verses by Malachi the prophet presented here below :

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me : and the Lord, whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in : behold, he shall come, said the Lord of hosts.” – Malachi 3 : 1.

We have to know that “the messenger of the covenant” is Jesus the Lord, whom we seek and delight in. Jesus shall suddenly come to his temple of the Laodicean Church on earth in this time of the end. This is certainly not to mean His second coming, which is only in the air, because His second coming in the future is not suddenly. Nevertheless, this sudden coming in the future would be a great and dreadful day of the Lord. It would be great for a certain people of the temple, but at the same time it would also be very dreadful for the other people. And this is the reason why the antitypical Elijah the prophet was sent with his message to prepare the way before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. Then, what is really burdened upon the antitypical Elijah to accomplish in our midst in this time of the end ? The answer is : “ ……. HE SHALL TURN THE HEART OF THE FATHERS TO THEIR CHILDREN AND THE HEART OF THE CHILDREN TO THEIR FATHERS, LEST I COME TO SMITE THE EARTH WITH A CURSE.” — MALACHI 4 : 5. Thus said the Lord.

This is to mean, that after Bro. Victor T. Houteff had successfully united his message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 with the third angel message of Revelation 14 by Mrs. White into the so-called THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10, to enlighten the whole earth beginning in the temple of the Laodicean Church, then he would have accomplished his mission to turn the heart of the fathers to their children and the heart of the children to their fathers. That is, our people would have been made to see eye to eye, and to have the same mind, and to speak the same things. And just at that time the great and dreadful day of the Lord as those prophesied by prophet Ezekiel chapter 9 will be fulfilled. Then the day will be great for those 144.000 elected saints of God to get their seals upon their heads as the mark of deliverance, whereas for those who fail to be sealed, are to be slaughtered. It is indeed a dreadful day of the Lord.

The identities of Elijah
the prophet as those prophesied

The servant of the Lord, Mrs. White said :

The identities of Elijah as those prophesied were more in detail provided us by Mrs. White as follows :

He is only a someone or a somebody, that is not more than one person. Therefore, Elijah the prophet will not represent those persons of Elders Waggoner and Jones at their mission in the Minneapolis Conference in 1888.
He is a prophet, which is an antitypical Elijah, who is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah the prophet of old. It means that he is to come with a message.
As an end time prophet he would have interpreted the secret things of the Bible as those prophesied by prophet Amos in Amos 3 : 7. But when he appears, men may say : “You are too earnest, you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way. Let me tell you how to teach your message.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 475.
As well as how king Ahab of old was very much against Elijah, so is the Leader of Israel of this time of the end (the angel of the Laodicean Church) also to be very much against the antitypical Elijah, because through all the interpretations of the Bible prophecies he has successfully laid bare all the abominations done in the Church by the angel of Laodicea and all his ministers of the gospel.
The Spirit and power of Elijah or the message of Elijah the prophet has enraged the ire of the leaders of both Israel of old as well as of today to stand against the antitypical Elijah of this time of the end and his message
As a prophet or the servant of Christ and reprove of sin, he would suffer humiliation of all kind, he was mocked and scorned everywhere in the churches. The servant of the Lord Mrs. White said : “Ahab regarded Elijah as his enemy because the prophet was faithful to rebuke the king’s secret iniquities. So today the servant of Christ, the reprover of sin, meet with scorn and rebuffs. Bible truth, the religion of Christ, struggles against a strong current of moral impurity. Prejudice is even stronger in the hearts of men now than in Christ’s day.” – The Desire of Ages, p. 587.

P r o p h e c y m u s t b e f u l f i l l e d

The servant of the Lord Mrs. White said, that “prophecy must be fulfilled.” That means that Elijah the prophet and his message prophesied in the book of Malachi chapter 3 and 4 should have been fulfilled in our midst in this time of the end. And the antitypical Elijah the prophet and his message should have come in our midst.

Let no one of us be willing to be misled by the ministers of the angel of the Laodicean Church, who might be saying that the message of Elijah had already come, and had been fulfilled by John the Baptist and his message to prepare the way for the first advent of Jesus in the Palestine. And that the prophecy of Malachi chapter 3 and 4 had been fulfilled by Mrs. Ellen G. White and her message of the Spirit of Prophecy to prepare the way for the second advent of Jesus.

Actually those things taught by the ministers are not thoroughly wrong, but they are very much incomplete. They deliberately conceal just the things they lack most of their failures in the General Conference held in Minneapolis USA in 1888.

If only could they realize that the coming of Bro. Victor T. Houteff in 1929 was especially for our own good, to have the Call for a spiritual revival and a spiritual reformation by Mrs. White in the Review and Herald of February 25, 1902 to be realized for to prepare the way for the second advent of Jesus, then the spiritual condition of our Laodicean Church should not necessarily fall so deep as it is now in. The servant of the Lord Mrs. Ellen G. White said :

“The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders Waggoner and Jones. This message was to bring more prominently before the world the uplifted Savior, the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It presented justification through faith in the Surety; it invited the people to receive the righteousness of Christ, which is made manifest in obedience to all the commandments of God. Many had lost sight of Jesus……………. This is the message that God commanded to be given to the world. It is the third angel’s message, which is to be proclaimed with a loud voice, and attended with the outpouring of His Spirit in a large measure………..

“For years the church has been looking to man and expecting much from man, but not looking to Jesus, in whom our hopes of eternal life are centered. Therefore God gave to His servants a testimony that presented the truth as it is in Jesus, which is the third angel’s message, in clear, distinct lines.” – Testimonies to Ministers, pp. 91, 92 & 93.

“For years the church (Seventh day Adventist people) has been looking to man (the angel of the Laodicean Church) and expecting too much from man, of those with high degrees of DOCTOR of Theology, and Master of Theology etc., but not looking to Jesus through His messenger and his message. It means that our people are too much dependent on the sermons from the pulpits and on the books of the Sabbath School lessons. Whereas through the prophecy of Zechariah we have been warned earlier in the following words :

“NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT. THUS SAID THE LORD OF HOSTS.” — ZECHARIAH 4 : 6.

That is, not by personal power of the minister from the pulpit to produce the sermon, nor by power of the Organization of the General Conference of SDA to produce those Sabbath School lessons for us, but by the SPIRIT of GOD to produce THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY in the golden bowl of the pictorial prophecy of Zechariah chapter 4. To this Mrs. White said : “READ AND STUDY THE FOURTH CHAPTER OF ZECHARIAH!” – TESTIMONIES TO MINISTERS, P. 188.

If only the message of “Justification by faith” offered in Minneapolis session of the General Conference of SDA in 1888 could have been received, it should have been manifested in obedience to all the commandments of God. That is, that all the commandments of God of the basic Law of the Kingdom of Heaven and all the Rules of implementations of the Law should have been highly esteemed in the churches. But how are they in fact now ?

When the antitypical Elijah the prophet came in 1929 with his message of Revelation 18 : 1 to unite with the third angel message of Revelation 14 into the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10, for enlightening the earth, he was then dismissed of his church membership. Even all his followers up to this very time have to lose their fellowship in the churches they have ever themselves erected. But let us praise the Lord, for even through His positive word of prophecy; we have been assured in the following word of prophet Isaiah :

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified : but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.” – Isaiah 66 : 5.

How is the antitypical Elijah to prepare
us to welcome Jesus at His second coming

We have to know that for us to welcome Jesus at His second advent in the future, we must absolutely be free from sin. In other word, we must be totally free from transgressing the Law of the Kingdom of God. The flash light of Jesus’ coming and of all His accompanying angels would be very deadly. And for normal eyes of an ordinary man who is not as yet fully repented of all his sin, he would not be able to stand the flash light of Jesus’ coming. We must therefore be holy both physically as well as spiritually.

Sin is the transgression of the Law, and the only way for us to be holy, we must repent of all sin and to pray to the Lord to get all the sin forgiven. And we must again be a law abiding citizen of the kingdom, as well as Adam and Eve were in Eden before their fall in sin. So the Law must be obeyed by implementing all the rules provided us in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. The problem now is how far are the rules that must be implemented ? The answer is all the rules of implementation as those provided for us in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.

Since the antitypical Elijah is the last prophet of the time of the end, then the message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 must unavoidably contain the last rules of implementation of the Law that must not at all be neglected.

Now after the antitypical Elijah the prophet having his message of the angel of Revelation 18 : 1 united with the third angel message of Revelation 14 in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, we would have all the Law and the testimony of Jesus completely available in our midst. And then through the process of “Justification by faith” we would be purified, made white, and then tried. Thus is the word by the angel Gabriel to Daniel be fulfilled. Read Daniel 12 : 10.

The fact now is that the antitypical Elijah the prophet has come through Bro. Victor T. Houteff and his message the Shepherd’s Rod. The Shepherd’s Rod message has now united with the Spirit of Prophecy of the third angel message in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY of Revelation 19 : 10. Thus is the Law and the Testimony completely provided in the Church of the Laodiceans of this time of the end. Then is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah when he said : “TO THE LAW AND TO THE TESTIMONY : IF THEY SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, IT IS BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM.” – Isaiah 8 : 20. That means : to the Law and to the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, if they speak according to that word, we may be sure that they have the truth of heavenly origin in their midst.

With the coming of Bro. Houteff as the last of the end time prophets of this time of the end, to have all the prophecies of the Old Testament and the book of Revelation, and all the parables of Jesus in the New Testament be revealed in our midst, then is fulfilled the word of prophet Amos when he said : “Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” – Amos 3 : 7. There is nothing more to be found in the Bible that is yet shrouded in mystery.

The way of how Elijah
revealed those secret things of the Bible

One of the Old Testament prophets who spoke much of our condition in this time of the end is Isaiah the prophet. After the historical event in Minneapolis in 1888, when the angel of the Laodicean Church opposed the message “Justification by faith” brought to them by Elders Waggoner and Jones, then the following prophecy by Isaiah would be worthy of our investigation. In the prophecy he wrote :

“WHOM SHALL HE TEACH KNOWLEDGE ? AND WHOM SHALL HE MAKE TO UNDERSTAND DOCTRINE ? THEM THAT ARE WEANED FROM THE MILK, AND DRAWN FROM THE BREASTS. FOR PRECEPT MUST BE UPON PRECEPT, PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT; LINE UPON LINE, LINE UPON LINE; HERE A LITTLE AND THERE A LITTLE: FOR WITH STAMMERING LIPS AND ANOTHER TONGUE WILL H E SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE.

TO WHOM HE SAID, THIS IS THE REST WHEREWITH YE MAY CAUSE THE WEARY TO REST; AND THIS IS THE REFRESHING : YET THEY WOULD NOT HEAR.

BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD WAS UNTO THEM PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT, PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT; LINE UPON LINE, LINE UPON LINE ; HERE A LITTLE AND THERE A LITTLE ; THAT THEY MIGHT GO, AND FALL BACKWARD, AND BE BROKEN, AND SNARED, AND TAKEN.“

“WHEREFORE HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD, YE SCORNFUL MEN, THAT RULE THIS PEOPLE WHICH IS IN JERUSALEM.” — ISAIAH 28 : 9 – 13.

Since h e who is to speak to us in this time of the end will be none other than the antitypical Elijah, then according to his identities prophesied above : “FOR WITH STAMMERING LIPS AND ANOTHER TONGUE WILL HE SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE.” He would be none other than Bro. Victor T. Houteff, a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, of Bulgarian origin, who proclaimed his message in English. Thus it is clear that Elijah which was prophesied in Malachi chapter 3 and 4 would be none other than Bro. Victor T. Houteff only.

As the last of all the end time prophets, he has revealed all the secret things of the Bible prophecies of the Old Testament, and of the book of Revelation, and of the parables of Jesus in the New Testament. The way he revealed those secret things is by precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little.

This is to prove that all the prophecies of the Bible, and the book of Revelation, and even all the parables of Jesus in the New Testament, all of which are supplementing each other to reveal only one history of the Church in the world, specifically of the Laodicean Church and her history up to the second advent of Jesus in the future.

Since the prophecy of Isaiah as well as all other prophecies of the Old Testament prophets, have just met their fulfillment in the time of the end, then we may be sure that this prophecy of Isaiah 28 should have applied specifically for us.

The Messenger of
the Covenant and His Mission

In Malachi 3 : 1 the prophet said : “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me : and the Lord, whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in : behold, he shall come, said the Lord of hosts.” – Malachi 3 : 1.

Messenger from the Lord of hosts and his mission as deliberated above is none other than Elijah the prophet. And we are now to deliberate further the messenger of the covenant, who is just the Lord Jesus Himself, whom we seek and delight in. He is to come suddenly to His temple which is His Church here on earth.

Since up to this day that coming suddenly to His temple here on earth was not as yet realized among us, then all Christian Churches today have changed their mind unwittingly to the anticipation of the second coming of Christ in the air. Which is no more suddenly to His temple as was prophesied by the prophet.

The wise should have understood that at the second coming of Jesus He will not have come on earth, let alone to stand on the doorsteps of His temple here on earth. However, according to prophet Malachi that the Lord whom we seek, and the messenger of the covenant whom we delight in, will suddenly come to His temple here on the earth. Then it must inevitably be a specific advent of Jesus to the earth in this time of the end, prior to His second coming in the air in the future.

It is just this coming which is not at all anticipated by Christian Churches today. And this is the reason why not too many Christians today will be willing to hear to the prophet Elijah and his message, to prepare us to welcome Jesus, when He suddenly come to His temple here on earth. Prophet Malachi then further said :

“……., and the Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in, behold, He shall come, thus saith the Lord of hosts. But who may abide the day of His coming, and who shall stand when He appeareth ? for He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver : and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.” – Malachi 3 : 1 – 4.

It is very clear now that the coming of Jesus suddenly to His temple here in the future, is specifically for purifying the Laodicean Church, before she could be sent out to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom to all the world under the power of the Holy Spirit of the latter rain, and then to have accomplished all the work of salvation here on earth at the close of probation in the heavenly sanctuary. This similar event was also prophesied by Isaiah the prophet in the following word :

“For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

“For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pull, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Ja-van, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory, and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.” – Isaiah 66 : 16 – 20.

F i r e = Holy Spirit ; His sword = The whole Truth of the Bible, which have been interpreted into THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. By fire and by His sword, that is by the SPIRIT and the Truth of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY from Elijah, the last of the end time prophets, the Lord Jesus would first plead with all of us in this time of the end. Then after that He will slay all the Laodiceans who are on and on to despise His pleading through His messenger Elijah the prophet and his message. And then how the slaying is goes on among us ? This is more distinctly explained by prophet Ezekiel as follows :

“He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which has the writer’s inkhorn by his side;
And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city. And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! Wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not. And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head. And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.” Ezekiel 9 : 1 – 11.

For those who have ever read this prophecy of Ezekiel chapter 9 would have certainly asked, is this true to be carried out soon in the near future ?

Let us, therefore, remember that no prophecy would ever fail to be materialized. This is the reason why Mrs. White should have seriously warned us in the following words “

“Study the 9th chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled; yet the time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have such great and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual experience. The time is short. God is calling; will you hear? Will you receive His message? Will you be converted before it is too late? The sudden coming of
the messenger of the covenant to the earth
before the close of probation

JESUS the messenger of the covenant and His mission to the earth in this time of the end, was also ever told us by John the Revelator in the following words :

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written on their foreheads. ………….. These are they which were not defiled with women ; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb.” – Revelation 14 : 1, 14.

Jesus under the robe of a Lamb is to prove that he was yet in His status as a Redeemer and a Mediator to stand for His people in the heavenly court of justice. This is also to show us that the session in the heavenly court of justice is not as yet over. Because when the court has accomplished its work, the probation would have been closed, and Jesus would have changed His robe to Kingly attire, and He would have been King of kings, and Lord of lords.

Thus it is clear now, that after the 144.000 elected saints of God from among all the Laodiceans, be sealed with the mark of deliverance, they would then be taken to Mount Zion in the Palestine to stands with Jesus as the Lamb of God, whereas those who failed the sealing will be directly slaughtered in place wherever they are. Thus it is how the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 is to be fulfilled in the Laodicean Church in the time of the end, long before the second advent of Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords in the air, to be accompanied by thousands and ten thousands of His angels to come.

C o n c l u d e d

Conclusion of the entire message from Elijah as those prophesied by Malachi for us in this time of the end is that we always keep in mind the Law of God and all its rules of implementation in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. This is the only Law that was ever since inspired into the minds of Adam and Eve in Eden, and later was commanded unto Moses on the mount Horeb in writing on the decalogue for all Israel, even for all of us the antitypical Israel in this time of the end.

It is the same Law and all its rules of implementations as those presented us by Elijah the prophet. As well as how Moses was commanded by the Lord to keep remember His Law in the past, to every one of us also was the command given as follows :

“Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord : And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” — Malachi 4 : 4 – 6.

If only our people are willing to admit their sins ever since the historical Minneapolis Conference in 1888, we would have received the message the righteousness of Christ, and that will be made manifest in obedience to all commandments of God. And then the antitypical Elijah would have no more difficulties to turn the heart of the fathers to their children, and the heart of the children to their fathers. We will all be able to see eye to eye, be able to have the same minds, and be able to speak the same things. And with these identities found in the Church, we will soon be purified, and made white, and tried.
