The Fate of the non-Adventist
Jacobites in Jerusalem, Palestine, and elsewhere in the Protestant World

In his sermon entitled “A Study in Typology” delivered by Bro. Houteff on July 15, 1944 he ever uttered the following words :

“We are not now living in the antitypical time of the changed name, Israel, but we are living in the antitypical “Jacob” time. You might say that Jacob is the fleshly name, a name that does not spell either prince or saint. Why are we still in the time portrayed by Jacob’s sin-denoting name ? — Because we have not yet started for home. When we start for home as did Jacob, we, too, shall meet with our time of trouble, even Jacob’s time of trouble. And at that time we shall become thoroughly converted to God forever, and our name will be changed as is foretold in Isaiah 61 : 6, and it will be a name that the Lord Himself will give us. When we demonstrate that we are truly converted, then this great promised blessing will come to us. And when our name has been changed it signifies that we are certain candidates for entrance into the Kingdom eternal.” – Symbolic Code, Vol. 12, no. 5, pp. 15, 16.

“In our study today we have traveled over the road the church has gone through its long history. Our journey brought us through the patriarchal period and then the temporal kingdom age and on through the sojourn of the church in the Gentile nations. It has brought us to the place we find ourselves now – on the verge of leaving for the Kingdom eternal, which also means that we are about to go through our time of trouble and have our name changed; then to be accepted into the Kingdom which God is about to set up that shall last forever.“ – Ibid. p. 16.

On the verge of leaving for the Kingdom

Bro. Houteff said further :

“For the next few minutes we shall depart from the overall application of the allegories to the living church through the ages, and let us also see what lesson there is in it for God’s church at this time.

The natural birth that Rebecca gave to her twins — Esau and Jacob — symbolizes the church giving spiritual birth to two classes of people, one good and one bad. Since, though contrary to established custom, the blessing was to be bestowed upon the younger, it denotes that in the latter-day church experience that class which should receive the spiritual blessing will forfeit it in favor of the other – the younger – class.

“From one of these twins is to come the twelve tribes of the children of Israel – the spiritual children of Israel, the 144.000 first fruits. When the time comes for the 144.000 to be born, the class represented by Esau are to have first opportunity to realize the privilege of leading the 144.000 who are to usher in the Kingdom over which Christ is to rule.

“When Sister White, the founder of the Seventh-day Adventist church, first began to work, she had a vision concerning the gathering of the 144.000, which was to be the work of the church. In the terms of the allegory, then, the Seventh-day Adventist church was travailing with the antitypical twins and was to give birth to Jacobites and Esauites. Who are the ones that would be classed Esauites, and who are the ones that would be classed as Jacobites – the two people that are in the church now ? The Esauites would be those that are older in the Advent message, those that came first and led the Jacobites, the younger ones into the church.  And as it was the younger all through church history that cherished the spiritual blessings which the older ones should have possessed for themselves, so it is that the younger children in the Advent Truth – God’s true church today – is to carry on the line of the living church. The others, the older ones, whose right it was by birth to be leaders on the 144.000 princes, standing with the Lamb on Mt. Zion, are going to lose out. When Sister White first saw the coming of these twelve thousand out of the twelve tribes it indicated that the church was travailing with them and they were soon to be born. From that time until 1930, when the Shepherd’s Rod message came, there was no more Truth revealed concerning the 144.000. And since the Rod message explained who are the 144.000 and announced that now is the time for them to appear, then we may know that they, the Jacobites were born, so to speak, from the time the message came .……………….

“According to the type we are studying, and also prophecy, the Jacobites are about to gather themselves and leave the Gentile nations to return to their homeland, Palestine.  And on their way they will meet Esau and have their name changed to Israel. Since Esau, however, did not go to the Gentile nations, but it was Jacob who left and came here, there must be Esauites also in Palestine. Is that not correct ? Though it is true that we are connected with Edomites in the church, — those who despise their birthright and whom God will therefore take away, — it is equally true that there are other Esauites besides, for the Esauites in the Seventh-day Adventist church are not all of them. No, they are not all of the Esauites. In addition to the Esauites that are in the Adventist church, there are Esauites in Palestine, and there are also Esauites in the other churches, too, and from them other Jacobites must be gathered. Do you not see that the Esauites are going to be enrages with God’s people and give them trouble behind and a bigger trouble ahead ? And besides all the trouble Jacob will suffer from Esau, he is also to have Laban running after him ! Somebody typified by Laban will pursue antitypical Jacob for trouble.“ — Ibid. pp. 16 – 19.

On the verge of leaving for the Kingdom eternal, the Jacobites seem to be found not only in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, but also in Jerusalem, Palestine, and even in other Protestant churches as well. This is why they are yet to be gathered. Though seemingly contradictive to the identity of the 144.000 as stated in Revelation 14 : 4 : “These are they which were not defiled with women ; for they are virgins ….” , this should have been reconciled further.

Bro. Houteff ever said :

“In the time of the reign of Solomon’s son, you recall, the kingdom of Israel was divided into two kingdoms. Ephraim, or the kingdom of Israel, being composed of ten tribes, was the main body or division. The “residue” was the house or kingdom of Judah and was made up of two remaining tribes, Judah and Benjamin. After the kingdom of Israel was divided into these two kingdoms the tribes in each intermingled, thus causing each kingdom to have within it people from all the twelve tribes. The two kingdoms, however, never merged themselves into one kingdom.

Isaiah 28 : 5, 6 —
“In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of His people, and for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.”

He is to be all this to “the residue of His people” — Judah.

We have learned that it is from the SDA church that the 144.000 are to come and with them will begin the establishment of the kingdom of Judah, and those of the kingdom of Ephraim are to join the kingdom of Judah and together they will become one nation. If the 144.000 are in the SDA church, then Ephraim must be found in some other church. The Protestant churches think they can sometime join themselves together into one religious unit, and you know that for some time they have been working toward that goal. We understand the name Ephraim in this prophecy to be speaking chiefly of the Protestant sects, for the Catholic Church is a paganized Christian church.

Isaiah 28 : 7 — “But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.”

In verse 1 we are told that Ephraim has been overcome with wine and are therefore drunkards. And verse 7 tells us that “they” (the “residue” – Judah) have also erred through wine. In other words, both the Protestant churches and our own SDA church have become drunk with “wine” – theories of men.” — The Symbolic Code, vol. 12, No. 8, 9, pp. 4 – 6.

The spiritual condition of our churches in the world today is so deteriorated so that it is very difficult indeed for us to distinguish between the true and pure doctrinal points of view of SDA origin and the strange ideas and theories from outside. Even most of our SD-Adventist ministers no more recognize the Spirit of Prophecy to be the message of the angels of Revelation 14. They even do not know that Mrs. E.G. White is the founder of our Church.

After the death of Bro. Houteff,
and its consequence up to now

In regard to the prophecy of Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 we have the following words by Mrs. White :  

“And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands ? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Awake O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts : smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered : and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.” — Zechariah 13 : 6, 7.

“With the death of Christ the hopes of His disciples perished …… Until the last they had not believed that He would die; they could hardly believe that He was really dead. Over-whelmed with sorrow, they did not recall His words foretelling this very scene. Nothing that He had said, now gave them comfort. They saw only the cross and its bleeding victim. The future seemed dark with despair. Their faith in Jesus had perished; but never had they loved their Lord as now. Never before had they so felt His worth, and their need of His presence.” – Desire of Ages, p. 772.

Whereas Bro. Houteff ‘s comments on the both verses could be read in the Timely Greetings, vol. 1, No. 18,  pp. 17, 18  as follows :

“And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands ? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Awake O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts : smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered : and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.” — Zechariah 13 : 6, 7.

“I have no special comments to make on verses 6 and 7, other than what is commonly understood among Christians.”

Though no special comments made by Bro. Houteff, both verses of the prophetic words must unavoidably meet their fulfillment in the time of the end. Thus in the study of typology we have again to endure the bitter experience of the disciples and all Christ’s followers after His death in Palestine. “Saith the Lord of hosts : ‘Smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered : and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.’

Several years before he died the servant of the Lord had warned us the following words :

“Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day. It is, moreover,  but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144.000 first fruit servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits (Revelation 7 : 9). The Enemy will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144.000.” — The White House Recruiter, p. 33.

“What a fearful responsibility rests upon those  who carelessly handle the Word of God, who pose as soul guardians over the people but who in reality are guarding that no soul escape landing in hell. Both they and their abomination will fall in the ditch. Indeed, if any reform is needed in Christendom, it is certainly needed worst in this one line.  

“Having now learned better, let us no longer make idols of men; let us no longer give place within us to unclean spirits. Let us rather give the Spirit of God a chance to lead us into His ever-advancing Truth with personal understanding.

“Let us be followers of Christ, never again of Paul, of Apollos, of Cephas, or of some other.” — Timely Greetings, vol. 1, No. 18, pp. 17, 18.

After the death of Bro. Houteff, then  the prophetic words of  Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 began to meet its fulfillment effectively as well as those statements in the White House Recruiter, p. 33  and the Timely Greetings, vol. 1, No. 18, pp. 17, 18. And the consequence is that the Present Truth believers again to be divided into two categories of people : (1) The Sheep that are scattered, and (2) The little ones that are under the guiding hand of the Lord Himself.

After having now learned better the Present Truth through the SIRIT OF PROPHECY, the little ones of God will no longer make idols of men of those leading at the Top of Camel in  Waco, Texas, nor of those leading at the Mountain dale Headquarters in New York, etc. They will rather give the Spirit of God a chance to lead them into His ever-advancing Truth with personal understanding.

And as we are no more allowed to be followers of Paul, the very beloved disciple of Jesus, let alone to be affiliated with those that are now leading at the Top of Carmel in Waco, Texas ! The leadership of the General Conference of SDA has long been spewed out of Jesus’ mouth ever since 1935, in which the General Association of Davidian SDA was first established to succeed it by Bro. Houteff.

Said the Lord, “I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”!
Who are the little ones? 

First we have to know that the statement should have met its fulfillment after the death of Bro. Houteff. And so, after the statement in The White House Recruiter, p. 33 be fulfilled, the Present Truth believers or Davidian Seventh Day Adventists would have again been divided into two categories of people, namely : The sheep that are scattered on the one side, and the little ones on the other side. And the Lord will turn His hand upon the little ones.

Since the Davidian Seventh Day Adventists as Present Truth believers have initially been categorized in the SDA Church as the wheat or the wise virgins on the one side and the tares or the foolish virgins representing the leadership of the Church on the other side, then when the wheat categorized ones again to be divided after the death of  Bro. Houteff, the result is : the pure wheat would be on the one side, and the chaff would be on the other side. In regard to the chaff categorized ones, the servant of the Lord Mrs. White said :

“God will arouse His people; if other means fail, heresies will come in among them,  which  will  s i f t  them, separating the c h a f f (not tares) from the w h e a t. The Lord calls upon all who believe His word to awake out of sleep. Precious light has come, appropriate for this time. It is Bible truth, showing the perils that are right upon us. This light should lead us to a diligent study of the Scriptures and a most critical examination of the positions which we hold.” – 5 Testimonies for the Church, pp. 707 – 708. (In brackets added)

The chaff categorized ones among the Present Truth believers of Davidian SDA would be “the sheep that are scattered” after the death of the shepherd, Bro. Victor T. Houteff. Whereas the little ones are the Present Truth believers, who after making a critical examination of the position they should hold according to the message in The White House Recruiter, p. 33, they have decided no longer to make idols of men.  Never again will they be followers of Paul, or of Apollos, or of Cephas, or of some other, let alone of those that are now leading at the Top of Carmel in Waco, Texas, USA.  They fully believe in God through His word when Sister White said :

“Let me tell you that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message (of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY) to be given to the world. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300. (In the brackets is added)

In the parabolic words of Jesus the little ones are similar to those who are now standing idle in the market place. The Lord would have appointed from among them their vanguards. And then the vanguards and their army would comprise the 144.000 Jacobites of God in the future.

How the non-Adventist Jacobites
receive the message of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

In the end of the study in typology the servant of the Lord, Bro. Victor T. Houteff then said :

“If we had a representation of the Seventh-day Adventist church here along with Protestant and Catholic representations, and if we could at one presentation show them the vast amount of Truth which we have been blessed with both from typology and prophecy, they would be amazed and confounded. Just as the woman of Samaria who talked with Jesus at the well, exclaimed because He was able to reveal all that she had ever done, they, too, would ask, “Where did this people learn so much about what is going to happen ?” – Symbolic Code, vol. 12, no. 5, p. 20.

The sealing message seems no more to be restricted for the Seventh Day Adventists alone. As we are now having witnessed for ourselves how science and technology develop so tremendously in many countries of the world, let us remember the word of God through His servant, Victor T. Houteff,

“Because the work is so broad, its expansion so fast, and its importance so great, God has inspired modern science to invent, and build speedy equipments to quickly finish His work.” – 2 Shepherd’s Rod, p. 229.

Thanks to the tremendous progress of science and technology, this message from THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY could have now enlightened the Jacobites of the Lord wherever they are on this planet. Never more to be restricted only for Judah the “residue” of the two tribes, but also for Ephraim of the ten tribes.

Even the non-Adventist Jacobites who are now living in Jerusalem, Palestine, and the non-Adventist Jacobites who are now affiliated with several sects in the Protestant world, besides the Jacobites of our own Seventh Day Adventist Church, all of them would have enjoyed the benefit of science and technology, that this sealing message of the 144.000 would have delivered all of them from the impending doom as those predicted through the prophecy of Ezekiel 9.

The way all Jacobites are to be delivered

Bro. Victor T. Houteff said :

“God has told us how to sow, how to harvest, and how to thresh. In the spiritual realm, we as Adventists have learned one thing : that the message is to be carried to the ends of the earth, then probation will close and everything goes down and we go up into Heaven. It is only now that we are beginning to learn how God does His harvesting of the various spiritual crops. He is first to harvest the righteous (the teachable ones) from the SD-Adventist church (the house of Judah); next, He is to harvest His people from among the Protestants (the house of Israel); and last, He will harvest from the heathen them that will turn and worship Him. Each of these crops He wisely harvests in a different way and in their appointed time of harvest.“ – The Symbolic Code, Vol. 12, No. 8, 9, p. 15.

As we are now in the time of the first fruits harvest, then the appointed time for God to harvest His people from the heathen is to be after the establishment of the Kingdom eternal in Palestine. It is the second fruits harvest from the whole world. And then comes the close of probation for all mankind in the heavenly sanctuary.

In deliberating the prophecy of Zechariah, specifically that which relates to the coming deliverance of the Jacobites and the establishment of the Kingdom eternal in Palestine,  Bro. Houteff wrote here below :

“The fate of Jerusalem”

“Zechariah 14 : 2  —-
“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.”

In view of the fact that Jerusalem is to be protected by a wall of fire (Zechariah 2 : 5) while the house of Judah reigns there, it is definite that the battle here described must be fought before the house of Judah is established. In that battle the nations will defeat the rulers of the Promised Land. Then it is that the house of Judah commences to be set up.

As the warring nations besiege the city, and rifle the houses, also ravish the women, they are by no means righteous nations, but since not all the inhabitants go into captivity, and since all are not cut off from the city, it must be that the wicked are taken away and the righteous left in to join the house of Judah.

Zechariah 14 : 3, 4 — “Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.”

At that time Jerusalem, that now is, falls, the Lord’s feet shall stand upon Mount of Olives and there make a very great valley; that is, remove the obstacles and hindrances, and thus prepare the land for the returning of His people. Then it is that the prophecy of Zechariah 10 : 8 – that the Lord shall “h i s s” for His people – will have met its fulfillment.

Zechariah 14 : 5 — “And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal : yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah : and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.”

Having thus opened the way for the re-establishment of the house of Judah, His people, who beforehand have been informed of it through the present Truth, will flee to the valley, to where the Lord’s feet stand, as quickly as if they were fleeing from an earthquake; and all the saints thereafter follow after them. There are several facts in this scripture itself which prove that this event is pre-millennial : (1) Note that the Lord’s feet stand on the mount in the day of the war in which Jerusalem is taken by the wicked nations. (2) Those that flee to the valley do not descend from heaven. (3) They can not be the wicked for they do not flee away from the Lord, but flee to Him, to where His feet stand. (4) All the saints follow after them. “Early Writings,” p. 53, makes a double application of this scripture, a post millennial one.

“In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness : and I will open Mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.” Zechariah 12 : 4. That is, God surprisingly confuses the wicked that they begin to act like mad men. At the time the Lord brings this to pass, He protects the house of Judah.

“In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left : and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.” — Zechariah 12 : 6. 

When the Lord smites the armies of the nations, He also makes the rulers of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood. Thus shall they with the “everlasting gospel” devour all the heathen round about, and thus shall Jerusalem be inhabited safely by God’s faithful people.

So it is that “in the days of these kings (not after their days) shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom, which shall never be destroyed : and the Kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” Daniel 2 : 44.

Then it shall come to pass that “many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob ; and he will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths : for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” — Micah 4 : 2. — The Fate of Jerusalem, Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, no. 19, pp. 3 – 6.

In the Symbolic Code, Vol. 13, No. 1, 2 p. 6, Bro. Houteff also said :

“And since this prophecy (of Zechariah) has never been fulfilled, it must take place at some future time.

Through it all we see in Zechariah’s prophecy a prediction that one day Gentile nations would be engaged in rebuilding the Israelitish kingdom in Palestine that was once destroyed. We see also that there is to be a world war in which Gentiles outside of Palestine and the Gentiles within will be involved. In that war. God’s people, Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem, are to be delivered and made free, and the kingdom will be rebuilt. That is as plain as anything I have ever seen.

In Luke 21 : 24 we find these words : “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations : and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” It is at the time Zechariah’s prophecy is fulfilled — when the four carpenters drive out the Gentiles – that Jerusalem shall no more be trodden by the Gentiles, for their time to occupy the Holy Land shall be brought to its end.  The Jews are to return and posses the land. Isaiah, Daniel, and Nahum also bear prophetic testimony to the fact that there is to be a war and trouble and deliverance of God’s people at the time His Kingdom is restored on earth.” — The Symbolic Code, Vol. 13, No. 1, 2, pp. 6, 7.

God’s people, Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem are none other than the Jacobites, because this is the result of the first fruits harvest. Judah as the Adventist Jacobites are to be joined later by the non-Adventist Jacobites from the Protestant world, and also from the non-Adventist Jacobites in Jerusalem, Palestine.

Conclusion from the Answerer Book 4, pp. 35, 36

Question No. 93 :
Although I am not a member of the SD-Adventist church, yet since I have the light on Ezekiel 9 and on the truth of the 144.000, will I fall in the slaughter of the wicked if I do not fully accept and live up to the light ? And, conversely, will I be subject to the enjoyment of the privileges of the 144.000 and be one of them if I obey all the light of this message ?

Answer :
Even though you are not a member of the church, still you will be held accountable for the light which you have on the subject, for no one finds the truth accidentally, or sees it without the Holy Spirit aid.

By the same law of accountability or sacred responsibility, even though you may have come into the message only recently, you can be eligible for the election of the 144.000 if you live up to the message that is to purify and seal them. Whether or not for a certainty, however, you will be one of them, we do not know, but if you are faithful to the message, you will at least be one with them.

The question above was coming from a non-Adventist Jacobite. And the answer from Bro. Houteff as the servant of the Lord is to prove that there are only 144.000 living saints, of all the Jacobites gathered from the entire world as the result of the first fruits harvest when the prophecy of Ezekiel 9 meets its fulfillment in the future.

Bro. Houteff also had ever said :

“All that are found members of the church u p  t o the fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 will either receive the seal and be a part of or with the 144.000, or else be left without the seal and fall under the slaughter weapons of the five men.” — The Symbolic Code Series, vol. 2, No. 5, 6, p. 8.

(2)

“All that are found members of the church a t the fulfillment of Ezekiel 9 will either receive the seal and be of the 144.000, or else be left without and fall under the slaughter weapons of the five men. Only those who sigh and cry for all the abominations in the church will escape from the destruction.” – The Symbolic Code, vol. 1, No. 11, 12, p. 9.

Since only the living saints of the 144.000, besides the wicked multitude who are to be slaughtered, are to be found on earth at the time of the fulfillment of Ezekiel 9, then those who are to be with the 144.000 would unavoidably first be laid temporary in the dust, and to be resurrected later in the Kingdom in the special resurrection of Daniel 12 : 2.

“Members of the church” requirement mentioned in the two statements above will no more be restricted to only those whose names are registered as Seventh Day Adventist, because the sealing message is now calling all the Jacobites wherever they are, either in Jerusalem, Palestine, as well as those who are now affiliated with several sects in the Protestant world.

C o n c l u d e d

Who are those, above, condemned by the Lord for their carelessness to handle the Word of God, who pose as soul guardians of the people at this very late hours ?  Is this not those of whom the servant of the Lord has ever warned : “We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day ?” – The White House Recruiter, p. 33.

They are none other than the antitypical Sanhedrin of today, because they are no less pious than were the priests of Sanhedrin the type in the time of Jesus. Indeed, said the servant of the Lord, if any reform is needed in Christendom, it is certainly needed worst in this one line.

For us today, to be followers of Christ by embracing His testimonies in the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, is the best than to be mere  followers of Paul, of Appolos, of Cephas etc.
