The Hands of Zerubbabel laid the foundation of
the house in 1935 – 1955. His hands shall also finish it. Whose hands laid the foundation of the house in 1991 up to now ?

Zechariah 4 : 9
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of host has sent me unto you.” –
Introduction
Every true Davidian SDA should have understood that the prophecy of Zechariah has been fully interpreted in our midst by the servants of the Lord Mrs. Ellen G. White and Bro. Victor T. Houteff in the publications of their messages respectively.
We are now living in the time of the end wherein the hands of Zerubabbel who represent Houteff and his message of the Shepherd’s Rod had successfully laid the foundation of the House, which is the Laodicean Church of Davidian SDA to meet the prophecy of Zechariah 4 : 9. Mrs. Ellen G. White ever said :
“The Church of God below is one with the Church of God above. Believers on earth and the beings in heaven who never have fallen constitute one Church.” – Testimonies, vol. 1, p. 366.
“The Lord has set His Church as a light in the world to guide the world to heaven. It is to be A PART OF HEAVEN ON EARTH flashing divine light on the pathway of benighted souls.” – The Faith I live By, p. 304.
In regard to Zechariah chapter 4, Mrs. White wrote here below :
“This chapter is full of encouragement for those who do the work of the Lord in these last days. Zerubbabel had gone to Jerusalem to build the house of the Lord. But he was compassed with difficulties. His adversaries “weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building,” “and made them to cease by force and power.” But the Lord interposed in their behalf, and the house was finished. The very same difficulties which were created to hinder the restoration and up building of the work of God, the great mountain of difficulty which loomed in Zerubbabel’s way, will be met by all who today are loyal to God and to His work. Many human inventions are used to carry out plans after the mind and will of men with whom God is not working. But it is not boastful words nor a multitude of ceremonies that show that the Lord is working with His people. The assumed power of the human agent does not decide this question. Those who place themselves in opposition to the Lord’s work may hinder for a time, but the same Spirit that has guided the Lord‘s work all the way through will guide it today. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”
The Lord would have every soul strong in His strength. He would have us look to Him, r e c e i v i n g o u r d i r e c t i o n s from H i m. (RH May 16, 1899).
From 1935 to 1955 the foundation
of the house was laid by the servant of the Lord
Bro. Victor T. Houteff
Since the Kingdom of Heaven is a law state, and since the Church here is a part of the kingdom of Heaven, then the foundation of the Heavenly Kingdom would become our foundation too, which is none other than THE L A W and THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS, which is THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY (of Revelation 19 : 10). During his life time on earth Bro. Houteff had provided us with the message of the Shepherd’s Rod, even with the Constitution and the By Laws of the Davidian SDA. And since every New Light should not put away all the lights that were first available in the midst of the people, then with the coming of the new light of the Shepherd’s Rod in our midst the whole world would be more and more enlightened.
The Lord God has limited the time for His servant Bro. Houteff to only 20 years from 1935 to 1955 to accomplish his work to lay the foundation of the house. And this could be understood from the following passages, that as soon as after his death the following story should have come to pass. He said :
“Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ‘s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow. We must be alert too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes —- from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day. It is, moreover, but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144.000 first fruits servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits ( Rev. 7 : 9 ). The Enemy will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144.000.“ – The White House Recruiter, p. 33.
The above passage began to be fulfilled first with Mrs. Houteff‘s fall in apostasy in 1959 up to the time when she liquidated the Mount Carmel Center and sold the whole assets to the Presbyterian Church in 1962. Here she was truly knocked out directly by the Enemy. But after this no more knockout blows coming directly from the Devil. The blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day.
Since the blow should have come from professed friends of the gospel, of an antitypical Sanhedrin of today who are no less pious than were priests of the Organization of the Sanhedrin in the time of Jesus, then the fulfillment of the statement should have been realized after the year 1991, after most of the assets of the Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, have been bought back and then reestablished as the successor of the Old Mount Carmel Center in the time of Bro. Victor T. Houteff. But we have to understand that the successor of the Mount Carmel Center in 1991 could not be deemed to also lay the foundation of the house, because Zerubbabel had long ever since died. So the reestablishment of the Mount Carmel Center in 1991 is totally illegal, neither here in the Laodicean Church nor in the kingdom of God in the Heaven.

The prophecy of Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 :
“And one shall say unto Him, What are these wounds in Thine hands? Then He shall answer, those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends. Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is My fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn Mine hand upon the little ones.” — Zech. 13 : 6, 7.
Since this prophecy is very much opposed by the leadership of those now leading at the reestablished Mount Carmel Center in Waco, Texas, USA , let us better turn to Mrs. Houteff own statements issued only several days after the death of her husband Bro. Houteff in February 5, 1955 and even several years before her fall in apostasy in 1959. She had ever told us in the Symbolic Code, Volume 10, no. 5 here below among other things :
“This statement is being issued to make known the official Davidian stand regarding the death of Brother Houteff in relation to the Message. ………………
“All these taking place at this particular time, and the prophecies now unfolded, prove that antitypical Zerubbabel must now be here, and that as he has started the work, he also must finish it. The fact that Inspiration takes the pains to tell who is to finish the work in itself is proof that there must be active usurpers of his office as there were of Moses office.” – Timely Greetings, (1953 edition), Vol. 1, No. 14, pp. 20, 21, 22.
If we believe that the author of the Timely Greetings (1953 edition) vol. 1, No. 14, is none other than Bro. Victor T. Houteff himself, then we must admit that Zerubbabel must unavoidably represent Bro. Victor T. Houteff personally. “The antitypical Zerubbabel must now be here,” he said. And he is the man who laid the foundation of the house from the year 1935 up to the time he died in 1955.
The “m a n Zerubbabel“ first represented a prophet ( in chapter 4 of Zechariah ), who came to lay the foundation of the House of the Laodicean Church of Davidian SDA. In chapter 13 : 6, 7 of the same prophecy of Zechariah , the Lord Jesus was first represented with wounds in His hands in the house of His friends the Jews in the Palestine. But “this man“ of this time of the end was later called by the Lord God Himself to be His “shepherd,” who is to be smitten and die to leave his sheep scattered here and there in the time of the end. And he is none other than Bro. Victor T. Houteff himself.
“There must be active usurpers
of his (Zerubbabel) office as there were of Moses office.”
“The fact that Inspiration takes the pains to tell who is to finish the work in itself is proof that there must be active usurpers of his office as there were of Moses office.” — Timely Greetings, (1953 edition), Vol. 1, No. 14, pp. 20, 21, 22.
Read carefully this passage, and you will see that it has begun to be fulfilled after the death of the servant of the Lord in 1955, after the fulfillment of his statement of which he said :

Inspiration warned us to be alert against the surprisingly unsuspected foes, who professed to be the successor of the Mount Carmel Center of the Lord in Waco, Texas, USA after the death of Bro. Houteff in 1955. However, since the antitypical Moses of today is none other than Bro. Houteff also after his death in 1955, they then must unavoidably be deemed the only active usurpers of Moses office mentioned by Bro. Houteff above.
How dangerous are the usurpers of Moses office mentioned above for us today could be observed from the facts, that
- They are surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel. Because they are themselves the Davidian Seventh day Adventists.
- They are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day in the Palestine, which means that they are unavoidably members of an anti-typical organization of Sanhedrin in this time of the end.
- They have been mandated by the ENEMY to deliver the knockout blows themselves directly upon whomsoever they like.
- They are usurpers of Moses office. And this is proven from the fact when they reestablished the Mount Carmel Center of the General Association of the Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA in 1991, based upon the Constitution and the By-laws of Davidian SDA. They put a young Bro. A., an inexperienced Davidian SDA to be a “permanent” Vice President to succeed the late Bro. Houteff as President of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA., who died in 1955.
- The problem now is, if Bro. Houteff as Zerubbabel had accomplished his work to lay the foundation of the house in 1955, then what work is left behind for the Vice President to accomplish up to the time when the hands of Zerubbabel also should have finished the house in the future ?
After the death of the shepherd
who is none other than Bro. Houteff himself
Prophet Zechariah said :
Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is My fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn Mine hand upon the little ones.” — Zechariah. 13 : 7.
Every one of us knows that Bro. Houteff died in 1955 to be survived by his Mount Carmel Center of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA. and all the Associations of Davidian SDA in many places in the world. Due to the fact of the prophecy above after the death, the Lord God would have turn His hands upon “the little ones”, that is, the Lord would have taken the reign in His own hands to lead the little ones of all the Associations of Davidian SDA scattered in many places in the world. Whereas the Organization of the mount Carmel Center of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA should have come to its end. And the fact is undeniable, because when the Enemy delivered the knockout blow Mrs. Houteff then fell from one end to the other, without an helping hand coming from the Lord to her aid, and the Mount Carmel Center should have at last to be sold to the Presbyterian Church in 1962.
And with so many problems confronting the re-established Mount Carmel Center of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA up to now, could you still believe that the re-establishment of the Mount Carmel Center of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA in 1991 could yet be justified to be on the pathway of true Christianity according to the will of God ? Or just to show us their original purpose as usurpers of Moses office ?
Conclusion
Therefore, the Lord would have every soul strong in His strength. He would have us look to Him, r e c e i v i n g o u r d i r e c t i o n s from H i m. (RH May 16, 1899).
“Now the manifest truth is that if time should last, and if we are to stay in the pathway of true Christianity where the light shines, then all must do something about this badly neglected work of caring for the needy, for it cannot be accomplished from one central location, but must necessarily be localized to every state and country wherever the message of the hour takes “root downward and bears fruit upward.” Isaiah 37 : 31.” – Timely Greetings, vol. 2, No. 45, p. 17.
The sealing message of the 144.000 elected saints of God in this time of the end could no more be anticipated to be accomplished from one central location only such as the Mount Carmel Center of the General Association of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA. This is the reason why we have to believe that ever since long ago the Lord God had ever said : Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is My fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn Mine hand upon the little ones.” — Zechariah 13 : 7.
All the associations of Davidian SDA, who survived the death of Bro. Houteff in 1955 up to now might be boast, that although without having a Headquarters of our own, we all have been guaranteed that the hand of God is always guiding u s up to the end.
